I agree with you but the problem with soccer is the TV networks couldn’t get in enough ads to cover the expense; or so I’ve been told.
Most people have huge TVs now. They sometimes run ads during soccer matches with a split screen.

Although I dislike the Cowboys (severely); register my vote with Jerry Jones.

Typical SJW behavior, if you try to be the voice of reason they round up the lynch mob and try to destroy your lively hood. How dare Jones try to get them not to pay Goodell $50M for destroying the NFL. The NFL is screwed.
Goodell is a master of mess.
The fact that the NFL is dumping on Jones and one of the leagues most major brands (the Cowboys) tells me the league and Goodell have nary a clue.

In the mean time, get ready for A LOT of bs calls against Philly. For every yard the Cowboys gain, they will be set back five. Oh, and Phillywill play a flawless game, at least in the eyes of the zebras. I have no proof of this but I believe the league will issue what I call, a Red Memo. It instructs the zebras the watch Dallas...closely. Any marginal call WILL BE called. Dallas better get ready for it.
Well, in all honesty, with 12:01left and the Chargers gettin stomped 41-17, why would anyone still be there? I mean, it’ only the Chargers.
