The NFL is digging its own grave. It is possible that in 20 years Soccer could be the new game in town for this country.
Yep.
For every new football field I see being built, I see two or three soccer fields for the area high schools.
And this is in Tennessee!

BOYCOTT THE NFL!!!

Soccer slowly but surely ha been coming on especially in the grade school and middle school for the last 25 years or so.
Less of a cost outlay for setup and equipment and more kids can get involved. I played the game when I was high school over 40 years ago and really like it. The change can and will come in the next generation or two simply because of the TME issue in football.

Roger Goodell and the many other teams’ owners have been demonstrating conduct “detrimental to the league’s interest”.
Their “free speech” decisions over the course of years has been suspect, non-transparent, arbitrary and totally politically biased. The latest charade has simply been the icing on the cake demonstrating all that, and finally many fans have had enough.
The Dallas Cowboys owner is speaking a whole lot more “truth to power” than has the NFL regarding their kowtowing to political agendas in a totally biased way; only when it suits them. They have no problem pissing off some fans, just not others.

Alinsky “rules” are alive in the NFL - accuse your opponent of the very thing you are doing and make them defend themselves.

Bring back the USFL
have them compete directly with the NFL.

I predict they will force him to sell the team. Like the lady who owned the Cleveland Indians was forced to sell because she had a WWII collection.
Do you mean Marge Schott(sp) She owned the Cincinnati Reds.
Due to her controversial statements and ownership of an Nazi armband she was banned from from day-to-day operations but wasn't forced to sell, which she did do but more likely due to failing heath.

This is ALL coming from liberal douchebag Arthur Blank, who heads the compensation committee and is in league with both Goodell and Kaepernick and against Trump.
Jones is at risk. The NFL could actually EXPEL him as an owner using this tactic.

The NFL, and many of the owners, are scared to death of the NFLPA (player’s union). The race card has been held over them for many years like a gun to their head. As a result, they are not in charge of the asset they paid for (the franchise).
I suggest that the owners offer the league for sale to the players. We’ll see how long that league stays in business.

Just ask Goodell this simple question. “For two straight years the league has lost both money and viewership. As commissioner what is your plan to get it back?”
Then fire his a$$.

In a letter sent Wednesday, the league escalated its feud with the prominent owner in a dispute over commissioner Roger Goodells contract The NFL accused Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones of trying to sabotage its contract negotiations with commissioner Roger Goodell, calling his conduct detrimental to the leagues best interests. The NFL accused Football FANs of conduct detrimental to the leagues best interests.
Football fans do not like paying players that have different priorities other than playing football, like social activism and hurting players who disagree with the activists. Playing football is their third priority.
Football fans do not want to pay good money for forced distractions from the game. Football games used to be a way to get away from the world of politics and social activism.
I am through with football this year. Maybe next year if there is one for football.

There’s only one way to explain the behavior of the NFL over the last few months...it has brain damage from concussions.

Let me get this straight ... The NFL commissioner has initiated action against an owner because the owner is making it hard for the NFL commissioner to get a better contract?
Sounds like conflict of interest if you ask me.

He's not an independent business owner here. He owns a franchise in a professional sports league, and is held to standards of conduct that your typical CEO doesn't have.
I don't really give a sh!t one way or another. The NFL could fire Goodell, shut down all their teams, or set their entire rosters on fire before the opening kickoff next weekend.
