We should only believe accusations of rape vetted by qualified liberals.
So goes Michelle Goldberg’s patently absurd logic in a recent column for The New York Times. To get there, she’s forced to dismiss a dominant liberal dogma: the “absolute” that every woman deserves to be believed. Her very next step institutes a new dogma: only women who liberals believe deserve unqualified belief.
(Never mind the litany of liberally vetted women — from the Duke lacrosse accuser to Mattress Girl to Rolling Stone’s “Jackie” — whose testimonies turned out to be extremely dubious or outright false.)
Goldberg is working out a Bill Clinton problem she and many liberals have on their hands now that the mantra to “believe women” is actually toppling men, some we might like. Is there a way to celebrate and affirm the downfall of Roy Moore and others based solely on the testimonies of multiple women, while continuing to dismiss the testimonies of Clinton’s accusers?

Every single thing liberals believe can be boiled down to one thing:

Recalls one time when I was on Jury Duty and the defense had a female witness who said I know he did not do it because he was not there. A lib on the panel said he believed her because:
“Women never lie”.
The irony was the guy did not commit the crime and we voted to find him innocent albeit one lady was a hold out for six hours saying: “I know he is guilty because he looks guilty”.
After that experience of being foreman, I prayed I was never back on a jury.
Interesting, I had a similar experience while serving on a jury and came to the same conclusion as you.
The dems have a real problem, Juanita Broaddrick won’t go away, and she’s too visible to resort to some kind of Don Corleone solution, because it would just call more attention to her and make their Bill Clinton situation even worse.

We should believe evidence. Naked allegations are not evidence.
I read elsewhere that upwards to sixty percent of rapes reported were false.
Either way, the women who file false rape reports should go to jail and pay heavy punitive damages to the man or men that were falsely accused.
