Yes, but if you get it wrong it's a $10 fine and 5 days in the electric chair!!!
Because strict gun control works so well in California...
It’s against the law to drink and drive, but (statistics from MADD website):
1. Teen alcohol use kills 4,300 people each year thats more than all illegal drugs combined.
2. Every day in America, another 28 people die as a result of drunk driving crashes. Thats one person every 53 minutes.
3. Drunk driving costs each adult in the united states over $500 per year, and costs the united states $132 billion a year.
4. 57% of fatally injured drivers had alcohol and/or other drugs in their system 17% had both.
5. 50 to 75 percent of convicted drunk drivers continue to drive on a suspended license.
Obviously, the law didn’t/doesn’t stop the above from happening. Further, when the federal government outlawed alcohol the results were disastrous for society. The point being that the problem lies with individuals, and just having laws in place doesn’t stop destructive human behavior.
Yep, was he out of jail under Jerry Brown’s/Dems “AB90”, Prop 47 or Prop 57? Guess it doesn’t really matter the damage is done.
Daily Mail will have the guys name before CNN.
“Why was this guy on the streets?”
California is loaded with dangerous imbeciles....how many voted for for Hillary?
Don’t we have any bail bondsmen on this forum to chime in ?
Cali is always changing the laws, it’s hard to keep up.
But when it comes down to it our system of Bailbonds makes us one of the best countries in the world to live in. It’s guaranteed by our constitution that we don’t have to rot in a jail cell until our court date (Try being accused and arrested in another country... boy that’s living hell)
Yes, no one wins when it comes to incarceration. But our bailbonds are very important. Many bail bondsmen aren’t worth a damn, but overall isn’t found in a single judgement or idea.
That said, any time someone suggests removing their right to own and bear arms is thrown around, I have to get defensive. If you’re taking guns away, you’re taking a right away. And that makes someone a second class citizen. Very delicate ground there.
This apparently is Kevin.

Ban knives! Confiscate all knives! Anyone who owns a knife is a bad, bad person.
Jerry Flush it down Brown has always worked against the best interest of California and it's legal residents, and now we are all screwed because the democrats have succeeded in getting so many illegals on the voter rolls that we are essentially a one party state
Texas needs to be vigilant because it is second only to California in illegals and is now the number one destination choice for them.
The judge who let him out should also be held liable.
only one problem with that arrest record:
DOB: 19/73/200328
WTH?!
The link you provided is relevant, even if it is not directly linked to this case. It shows how easily bail can be obtained, in that region, after a serious offence.
I’ve been checking on news reports all afternoon, from various media outlets. They’re not even mentioning the name “Kevin” anymore, or that he was a known felon. “The gunman was shot and killed by police”, that’s it. No mention of his name being withheld. Nothing to see here, move along now.
This is weird.
LOL, don’t know.
So many times these a-holes are well known problems in the community and nothing is done.
Sacramento Bee is now identifying the shooter as Kevin Janson Neal.
So you were right.
