Don’t we have any bail bondsmen on this forum to chime in ?
Cali is always changing the laws, it’s hard to keep up.
But when it comes down to it our system of Bailbonds makes us one of the best countries in the world to live in. It’s guaranteed by our constitution that we don’t have to rot in a jail cell until our court date (Try being accused and arrested in another country... boy that’s living hell)
Yes, no one wins when it comes to incarceration. But our bailbonds are very important. Many bail bondsmen aren’t worth a damn, but overall isn’t found in a single judgement or idea.
That said, any time someone suggests removing their right to own and bear arms is thrown around, I have to get defensive. If you’re taking guns away, you’re taking a right away. And that makes someone a second class citizen. Very delicate ground there.
This apparently is Kevin.

I would submit that the family of the Sulphur Springs TX killer should be prosecuted as accesories after the fact.
They knew about his Air Force history [domestic assault, jail. & a dishonorable discharge].
It's pretty common knowledge that domestic violence convictions remove your rights to firearms. Yet they did nothing.
I would have confronted him, and given him ONE warning, as a family member.
And I would have been watching him till I knew he puked them up.
