Donald Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon is urging American Jews to join his war against the Republican establishment.
"We're leading an insurgency movement against the Republican establishment," Bannon told the crowd at the Zionist Organization of America's annual gala.
"We're a nation at war. This war is only going to be won if we bind together and work as partners,” he continued.
During the event, Bannon played up the mutual disdain he and many Jews feel for Iran, and he accused congressional Republicans of “playing games.”
"I am not a moderate, I’m a fighter,” Bannon said to loud applause. “And that’s why I’m proud to stand with the state of Israel. That’s why I’m proud to be a Christian Zionist.”
Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, and a host of other luminaries were guests at the gala, which has been dubbed “the Academy Awards of the Jewish World.”

Good luck with that! Broadly speaking, American Jews are Secular Progressives, and as a consequence all most of them are interested in doing is screwing Republicans of all stripes. Just like Rod Rosenstein is presently doing as Deputy AG.

Exactly. Not only are American Jews overwhelmingly against the "Republican establishment", they're overwhelmingly against anyone ELSE running for office with an "R" next to their name.
Exactly. The ZOA crowd are all neocon globalists who support open borders, free trade and wars like Iraq. It would be hard to find a group of people more opposed to “populist nationalism” or whatever Bannon calls himself than the crowd at a ZOA meeting.
Obviously, this is political intrigue with two opposed sides trying to play each other.
Bannon is pushing the Saudi foreign policy line to an absurd degree lately, making comical statements about Iran and Qatar being the most important issues. This is obviously an attempt to suck up to the ZOA crowd and other parts of the Israel Lobby. The question is what is Bannon’s game here?
Obviously, a Trump administration that starts a new major Middle East war will go down in flames and lose almost all its supporters under 50. It would be a reprise of Dubya. So I doubt Bannon intends for that to happen. So why is he sucking up so hard to the very elements in American politics that are most committed to that happening?

If the ZOA affair is called “The Academy Awards of the Jewish Worlds”, then the entertainment industry’s “Academy Awards” should be called the “Academy’s Awards for Sexual Perverts, Predators, and Traitors”.

And those are the more “conservative” of their lot, sad to say. The real “bad actors” are Jews like George Soros and Tom Steyer, who have unlimited amounts of personal wealth available to them to buy the world to be the way they want it to be.
But that's largely relegated to the Jews in Israel. The American Jews are largely on the side of those here who hate the Israeli Jews, and some of them go so far as to trash their blood brothers and sisters there. Go Figure, it's one of life's mysteries!
Couching their words and phrases here, doesn’t mean they don’t harbor ill will for these folks.
I honestly think this PC thing going on these days spells bad times ahead for Jewish people and Christians alike.
It is very clear the powers that be want Islam to eclipse Christianity in this nation.
I know some folks will laugh that off, but you look at the control Islam wields here even now. Imagine what it will be like when they have 15% here instead of 1.5%.
This is an all out war against this nation and everything it stands for.
