Most reporters are not interested in integrity or accurate reporting. They really hurt the profession as a whole. Though sadly I think they are the majority, not a small insignificant minority.

"If we had a relationship with Russia, that would be a good thing. In fact, it would be a great thing, not a bad thing. Because he could really help us in North Korea. We have a big problem with North Korea."

Russia and North Korea declare 2015 a ‘year of friendship’

“The biggest cause for concern is the growing military alliance between Russia and North Korea, with the two regimes recently announcing plans to conduct a series of joint army, navy and air force exercises this year.”

May 17, 2017

“Despite efforts by the United Nations to impose isolating sanctions on North Korea in response to the country’s continued development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, trade between Russia and North Korea soared more than 85 percent in the first four months of the year.”

North Korea nuclear crisis: Putin calls sanctions useless

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said pursuing further sanctions against North Korea is “useless”, saying “they’d rather eat grass than give up their nuclear programme”.

The US said on Monday it would table a new UN resolution on tougher sanctions in the wake of the latest test of a nuclear bomb by the North on Sunday.

Mr Putin also said that the ramping up of “military hysteria” could lead to global catastrophe.

He said diplomacy was the only answer.

China, the North’s main ally, has also called for a return to negotiations. ...”

Thank you for posting this about the nuance of the president’s response to the question:

“IMPORTANT NUANCE in @realDonaldTrump statement on Putin denying meddling in US election. @POTUS did NOT say he “believes” Putin. He said he believes Putin “means it” when he says it.— John Roberts (@johnrobertsFox) November 11, 2017.”

Unfortunately, I think that John Roberts was probably the only reporter there that caught it.

If we fudge what they mean, why should anyone trust us?

Is there any such thing as bonfide intelligence anymore?????

These things aren’t discovered by phony dossiers or “believing” somebody. They’re discovered by actual bonafide intelligence.

As far as I’m concerned at this point, if there was any collusion with the Russians it looks like it was the Democrats.

We need to get first-rate intelligence back and running.

Trump should shift the topic to all the OTHER countries attempting to influence US politics. Like Saudi Arabia.

The Mansourian Candidate:

The old article described a $20 million dollar fund from OPEC and Saudi Prince Alwaleed to place promising 'blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans' into elite colleges. The conduit was a lawyer named Khalid al-Mansour. The article's author was Vernon Jarrett.
The Saudis spent huge amounts of money recruiting "agents of influence" on American college campuses, and promoting their careers. One notable beneficiary of Saudi money: Barack Obama.
