WASHINGTON — A fifth woman accused Roy S. Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, on Monday of making sexual or romantic advances toward her when she was a teenager, as senior Republicans in Washington called for him to drop out of the race.
The new accuser, Beverly Young Nelson, told a news conference in New York that Mr. Moore attacked her when she was 16 and he was a prosecutor in Etowah County, Ala. Ms. Nelson was represented at the news conference by Gloria Allred, a New York lawyer who has championed victims of sexual harassment.
“I tried fighting him off, while yelling at him to stop, but instead of stopping, he began squeezing my neck attempting to force my head onto his crotch,” Ms. Nelson said in a statement she issued at the news conference. She said Mr. Moore warned her that “no one will believe you” if she told anyone about the encounter in his car.

So I can simply accuse any guy who signed my yearbook if I can get my like minded best friend to verify some bull crap I come up with decades later? And so long as I do it right before an election no one will demand I take a polygraph or provide any kind of evidence?
. Obviously, Moore must have known there was a ride coming for her and instead of leaving the area to sexually assault her, he takes her to the back of the building to assault her and then throws her out of the car so she can walk back into the restaurant for help. Ridiculous!

Well, here’s what I think. As most “stories” go, they morph into more or less than what really happened. Going to the back of the building is a big problem with me, as most people would have left the area to make their move, let alone throwing her out of the car and leaving her where she worked and could get help, or even her boyfriend finding her. So obviously, the other workers in the restaurant saw her leaving with him, they walked out at the same time, she is choked to the point that she has black, blue and purple neck bruises and she says, “no one would believe her”. Ridiculous! So I think, she was a willing participant which is why they were in the back of the restaurant parking lot, and now she can elaborate her story to being assaulted and getting some bucks. Although, the jewelry, especially rings doesn’t look to me like she is financially needy.
This one may be the end for Moore, whether she’s lying about the forced rape or not... She has a signed yearbook, the mother remembers her neck being bruised the next morning. There’s every chance she gave him a blowjob in the car and now sees an opportunity to make some money. She may have remembered having the autograph after seeing the other 4 women come forward & thought “I can really make some money here, what’s the name of that lawyer who gets all the press attention when she represents accusers, I need to call her”.
Maybe she flirted with him, he did try and force himself...
Whether it’s real or a lie, Moore’s in trouble.
Notice how they held this one back until the other 4 came forward, on purpose of course. Probably another women will come forward and claim he actually did rape her.
I wonder if the accusing female lawyer or her husband is associated in any way with the FFRF or belongs to a group called “Sarasota Humanists.”

Yes you can.
But nothing will come of it because you are not a known Christian politician in an election race.
Don’t get me wrong...I think this is all bullshit even if what these women say is true. It’s 40 years in the past and there’s not even a hint that the supposed behavior continued.
But it makes him radioactive to Republicans. Not Democrats mind you...Bill Clinton was CREDIBLY accused of rape and Democrats stood behind him to the last man/woman/other.
But these are Republicans we’re talking about. And there’s not a single Republican in either house of Congress that has ever been accused of bravery, nor a defender of justice.
Not One.
Yeah, but he’s a Christian Republican with no friends in the party.
