Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city - or should I say, "our city". I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes.
It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.

“It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city.”
Enjoy your slavery, idiot.
And anyone who disagrees is disposed of in the crematoriums.
The ingredients for any recipe you like already come to your door at the click of a mouse. Why couldn't tools come too?
The warehouses that ship these foods are already 50-70% automated. Why couldn't they be nearly 100%?
Self driving trucks and delivery drones are getting very successful in the testing stages.
Now imagine in the future drones using near infinite energy would deliver what you want at any moment. Then at the click off a button the used items and trash would be picked up by a drone. Then by AI machines properly cleaned, recycled. Food scraps automatically composted and eventually grown into new food via AI farmers. Without any human labor required.
As an engineer who has seen the latest tech in development, I dont consider any of this a stretch. I consider this a certainty unless, of course, humanity kills itself first
There are live men left, even in 2030. This hellish nightmare won’t be your utopian fantasy.
It will be a field of predation.
MUSLIM immigrant gangs in Denmark are stronger than ever and hatred for the native Danish population continues to escalate.

Sounds like we’re going to evolve into ants or bees.
“... As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man-—
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began:-—
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her mire,
And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!”
I dont agree with everything the author says
But there will come a time where anything material is free and infinite. With nothing worth fighting anybody over
This where the arrogant technologists are headed and the end of the road of it is the dual sub-human and human society left at the end point in time that the main character in the time machine reaches.
The humans have perfect health, all the food and shelter they need, as well as no need to do any work at all. They are well cared for (until they reach an early rigged demise) by a subhuman race that began as the caretakers of the fully automated systems that did everything and took care of everything. As the elite, while the humans were fully taken care of, the elite in charge became cannibals and eventually sub-human. They remained in subterranean habitats, away from the well cared for humans, most of the time. Until that is they wanted more “meat” and then sounded alarms, with which humans had been indoctrinated to throw themselves into well constructed pits, where they were captured.
Well, a pretty face
don’t mean a pretty heart.
I learned that right,
buddy, from the very start.
I know you are just being funny. This is another escapist fantasy from a Danish politician. There is a parallel between John Lennon's song and this persons fantasy. If this is what the Danes wanted they would have had to keep the violent filth of the world from immigrating there.
“I’d like a steak, kitchen computer.”
“One soybean steak substitute coming up, human unit!”
Still; that missing link of who pays the bill.
That one statement alone qualifies this as an infantile pipe dream.
“Still; that missing link of who pays the bill.”
Bill for what?
Everything from raw materials to recycling will be done by machines who are repaired and built by other machines.
Socialism always attempts to equalize by penalizing the achievers and lowering them so that nobody is better than anybody else. But its not presented that way. Thats what you end up with. Its presented as love, peace, happiness, contentment, no worries. Everybodys gonna take care of it for you. The supposed selling point of socialism is that by controlling the economy, the government can make sure that theres no income inequality. The government can make sure that theres no poverty.
The government can make sure theres no racism. The government can make sure that theres no bigotry. The government can make sure theres no homophobia. The government can make sure that there is no prejudice of any kind. But what has happened, under every socialist regime and communist regime is that the people in power use it to enrich themselves and their friends and family." - Rush Limbaugh 2016
Sounds like a liberal hell.
Sounds like The Matrix.
