The mother of Leigh Corfman, who says that Alabama Senatorial Candidate Roy Moore tried to engage in a sexual encounter with her when she was 14, has contradicted a key detail of Corfman’s story. Speaking by phone to Breitbart News on Saturday, Corfman’s mother, Nancy Wells, 71, says that her daughter did not have a phone in her bedroom during the period that Moore is reported to have allegedly called Corfman – purportedly on Confman’s bedroom phone – to arrange at least one encounter.
Moore strongly denies Corfman’s claims.
The Washington Post, which first published its newsmaking, on-the-record interview with Corfman last week, cited Corfman as remembering that she provided Moore with her number when she was 14. She said that she spoke to Moore from what she described as the phone in her bedroom.
Citing Corfman, the Post reported:
After her mother went into the courtroom, Corfman says, Moore asked her where she went to school, what she liked to do and whether he could call her sometime. She remembers giving him her number and says he called not long after. She says she talked to Moore on her phone in her bedroom, and they made plans for him to pick her up at Alcott Road and Riley Street, around the corner from her house.
Soon after, Corfman said, he called again, and picked her up again at the same spot.
Later on, Corfman described a third phone call:
She says that after their last encounter, Moore called again, but that she found an excuse to avoid seeing him. She says that at some point during or soon after her meetings with Moore, she told two friends in vague terms that she was seeing an older man.

I will continue hoping and even assuming that his desire for youngish Girls was quenched forever when he married one, and that he has had a happy married life since then.
I agree. I would be EASY to make up a grooming story about an innocent man, easier if the pay were right. I have no idea whether these things are real.
Can’t disagree with anything you wrote. I said my piece about my disappointment in his response to Sean. I expressed my feeling about the girl’s story who is supposed to have been 14, the grooming description, and how her mother is defending her. And I leave my opinion here with what we know right now that if he stopped pursuing teens once he married one, I support him fully for Senator.
Has he admitted to dating any of the four girls?

Wow, the part of your post I haven’t quoted above is really really mean and ad hominem. Especially for someone with your screen name.
Nothing is really provable here. The two accusers were of age, so no harm no foul. (No reason for Moore to have lied about not remembering dating the one.) The one who was supposedly younger has no proof, though now she had her mother backing the story.
What more contribution do you wnt from me, other than all of what I’ve already posted?
I’d like you to apologize for saying I’ve accepted money to slander Moore on FR, which doesn’t even fit anything I’ve said. I am not expecting it, but an apology would be nice.
Definitely agree that maturity doesn’t match with age, often.
Funny aside is that we are listening to Laura Ingalls Wilder books on the commute to school, and in one story Laura and her cousin, both around 13, talk about an age mate of theirs who got married to an older man. They were both horrified that their friend couldn’t play any more, couldn’t be riding ponies, no school, etc. Just work running her husband’s home. But then they were comforted now that she’d have babies, and that would be fun. It’s a different time.
