Republicans are exploring ways to get embattled Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore’s name off the ballot, including floating the possibility of changing the date of next month’s special election in the wake of years-old allegations of sexual misconduct against Moore.
Some party members are reportedly considering getting Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) to move the date of the Dec. 12 special election to early next year, according to The New York Times. Based on Alabama law, it’s too late to remove Moore’s name from the ballot this close to Election Day.
Moore, a former state Supreme Court chief justice, is facing wide backlash over allegations of inappropriate sexual misconduct involving a 14-year-old girl in 1979 when he was 32 years old

If the cowardly members of the Senate join UpChuck Schumer in trying to unseat Moore, should he win, then every one of them should be marked for defeat. If this succeeds, every conservative who runs for office will have sexual charges made against them.
Ditto! I’ve been following Moore for years and have listened to many of his speeches, many in person. He often stumbles over his words and sometimes speaks very quickly making it hard to follow his brilliant speeches. I’m still voting for the man I KNOW, not what the fake news media says he is.

So all the “news” we are getting now is one attack after another from Republicans. The Democrats are in a break even or win situation while the Republicans are in a lose or break even situation because of Mitch. He’s just a low life skunk.
Yes. I've seen him read prepared remarks slowly too. Moore is a relic from another era and not a polished speaker or slick politician which endears himself to a lot of people. The Senate will have no idea what to do with Roy Moore when he gets there.
P.S. Moore and Sessions issues are much the same. They are both honest, honorable men who just happen to be from Alabama. Alabama equates to many (and even many on this board) as inbred, toothless rednecks. Prejudice is rampant in many areas...not just with race...sigh
Hannity asked him straight up if he dated teenage girls in the 1970s and instead of flatly answering "no!" Moore stammered something about "that would be out of character for me."
The answer did not inspire confidence so yeah, he probably had a thing for teenage girls 40 years ago.
Honestly, I just don't care anymore. Moore's a scumbag but they're all scumbags, every last 535 of them. So it's between scumbags who are part of the swamp and scumbags who want to drain it. I'll take swamp-draining scumbags.

Ballots were printed 2 days ago. If removing Moore were to be successful, Jones runs unopposed. How can nobody see what this is????

You have to know that a big part of this is the widespread notion amongst the “elite” that people from your part of the country are nothing but ignorant rednecks, and they can’t stand the thought of someone like Moore sullying their hallowed Senate chambers. I wish I could vote for him!

Moses? Good grief. Roy Moore is no Moses. He is just a conservative politician ... which is somewhat rare these days.
Meant as a general comment only....I’ve noticed some folks feel that they can detect a lie when somebody stutters. As it was I was more responding to “dirty secret”(and I posted the same to him) and I was supporting your comments back to him.
OK. comprende. I’ve been following Roy Moore a long time. Roy is not much of a politician IMO. He is certainly not slick or polished. I wish he were a better speaker but he is what he is and he is a great conservative. If his campaign gets more aggressive then he will be elected Senator.
