My Evening with the Ted Cruz Campaign

One year out from Election Day 2018, the Ted Cruz re-election campaign is in high gear. Last evening, I attended an event sponsored by the Hood County Tea Party in my hometown of Granbury, Texas at which the featured speakers were senior members of Senator Cruz’s 2018 campaign.

First up was the campaign’s impressive political director, Joseph Wade Miller, a Marine veteran and former regional coordinator for Heritage Action for America. Discussing the tax reform bill, Miller explained that within the Republican caucus, the battle largely comes down to the question of whether the bill must be “revenue neutral.” Senator Cruz favors more aggressive tax cuts, which will stimulate greater economic growth and in the long run produce at least as much revenue as a more modest revenue-neutral bill.

On the political front, Miller candidly acknowledged that it might be possible for Senator Cruz to win re-election by a few points with a relatively modest effort. However, the goal is to win a resounding victory that will discourage the opposition from directing resources to Texas and dampen their aspiration of ever turning Texas blue.

Cruz should have been an actor. His BS formed a cult of mostly religious zealotry that to this day successfully blocks reason and all memory of his desperate and dirty tricks campaign, from the state conventions to the national. These people helped pull it off. Without conscience they too were claiming high moral ground while manipulating delegates,

In the name of G-d, of course.

Sadly this moral mouse has no challengers with a financial war chest sufficient to send him to the sales desk at the nearest used car lot.

Unfortunately, it’s wretched Crooze or the Castros, so the trap is set to vote this putz back to McConnell’s kennel of tricksters in the senate.

If being foolish is telling the truth about cruz then I own the fool title proudly. You are the reason we are in the mess we are in. You love liberals. So sad to see on FR.

Criticism of Trump[edit]
On July 19, 2015, Heritage Action CEO Michael A. Needham publicly criticized then Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. “Donald Trump’s a clown. He needs to be out of the race,” Needham said on Fox News Sunday.[27] On September 18, 2015 Trump cancelled his scheduled appearance at Heritage Action’s candidate forum in Greenville, South Carolina citing a “significant business transaction.”[28] Then on November 22, 2015, Needham publicly praised Trump. “I think that part of Donald Trump’s attraction is that he’s provided bold leadership,” Needham said on Fox News Sunday. “I think Trump is driven by people who want bold leadership.”[29] Trump publicly thanked Needham the following day, tweeting “Thank you for your nice words @MikeNeedham...”[30] According to a 8 March 2016 article in The Washington Post, Needham claimed “A Trump election or nomination is a complete vindication that Washington needs to change.”[31]

The lament of every conservative:

<>The heart of Pastor Cruz’s talk was his warning that we are in danger of losing the USA that we know and love. Cruz described our freedoms in America as being slowly whittled away. He urged people not to count on others to do the necessary work, but for each individual to join the good fight to preserve our constitutional republic.<>

The voting process cannot turn back an all-powerful Supreme Court.

The voting process cannot turn back the administrative state.

The good fight that CAN turn back scotus and the administrative state is an Article V convention of the states.
