I suspect the allegations are true. Moore did date a 16 year old. Bozo had to send his sleuths all the way back to 1963 to find the evidence.
We’re talking about a 32 year old man dating teens. That’s not only inappropriate, its a crime in many states.
I see no plausible defense for it given the age difference involved. If Moore didn’t know that at the time, he’s either a fool or a scoundrel.
That goes even deeper because back in the day, he was a prosecutor.

The term date, although used today to characterize a broad range of relations between the sexes, does not accurately characterize parent guided "courtship" in conservative Christian enclaves.
Two of my three children have participated in courtship, the goal of which is for each to discover suitability for marriage. I do know if this is the arrangement Roy Moore had with the parents and three young women who had reached the legal age of "consent". In christ-honoring conduct sex only properly occurs within marriage. Sex outside of marriage is sin.
This is how Obama became US Senator in 2004. This is how they took out Herman Cain in 2008. This is how they tried to deep six Clarence Thomas.
Moore deserves due process. Period. The timing of this Bull Shit does not allow for due process. Think about that for just one moment.
