In our current climate, there is now zero tolerance for sexual predators. The alibi stock in trade, I didn’t do it, cuts no ice with the public.
We can’t have one rule for our adversaries and another rule for our side. If we do, we’re hypocrites.
If Moore falls from grace, it’ll be because of a lack of responsible behavior nearly 40 years ago. A man should know the difference between right and wrong. The excuse every one does it isn’t true because most people don’t do it. Period.
I simply can’t condone that kind of behavior and accept that’s its evidence of admirable character. If true, all the more reason Moore can’t serve in the Senate.
