An Alabama candidate for the US Senate is strongly denying allegations that he sexually abused a 14-year-old girl.
Roy Moore, a Republican firebrand, said claims that he preyed on a teenager while he was a 32-year-old prosecutor were "completely false".
Leigh Corfman and three other women say Mr Moore made sexual advances on them when they were between the ages of 14 and 18, the Washington Post reports.
The top Senate Republican said Mr Moore must step aside if the claims are true.
Mr Moore, who is now 70, said in a statement to the Post: "These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign."
The Christian conservative's team said in another statement about the allegations, "this garbage is the very definition of fake news and intentional defamation".
"Judge Roy Moore has endured the most outlandish attacks on any candidate in the modern political arena, but this story in today's Washington Post alleging sexual impropriety takes the cake," its statement added.

Stating facts, however inconvenient, does not make one a troll. Moore was and is a weak candidate who has done things I am not comfortable with. And we need to stop acting like any allegation about misconduct against a conservative is some kind of conspiracy. That tin foil hat crap is getting really old. I don’t know what the real story is here. But I am not ready to call these allegations political BS until more facts become available.
Its 40 years old. All he has to do is deny it, call WAPO liars being careful not to call the accuser a liar, and keep his mouth shut.

Moore is innocent until proven guilty. He has flatly denied the allegation. Trump had to endure a daily parade of women accusing him of sexual crimes, close to 15. No one filed a suit after Trump was elected. We had the famous dossier paid for by the DNC and Hillary.
You don't have to be a conspiracy nut to believe that these kinds of allegations against a candidate weeks before election day are not coincidental. Moore should not be in the position to prove his innocence. That is not the way our system is supposed to work.

Would you make up a lie for say ah..... $500,000 off shore or an advisor position for the DNC for an annual salary of $100,000. There have been too many men in public positions accused of sexual advances toward females. Men need to leave women who are not their wives alone and let them go fish and buy a vibrator or get a girl friend.

Taylor Swift was a grown adult woman, 24-years old, when those pics were taken. There's nothing wrong with admiring the beauty of adult women.
While it may be legal for a 30-year old man to date a 14-year old girl after receiving her parents' permission, it is, in 2017 America, at the very least frowned upon as inappropriate. If this is something that Moore used to do, he should've understood that it will handicap his race for senate. He should not have ran.
Now, if these accusations are wholly without merit and Moore never dated underage girls, then he needs to fight back aggressively showing no quarter.
Polipace isn’t a valid source to cite for anything. Moore’s statement didn’t admit any such thing. The source you cited can’t even spell Consensual correctly.
