Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin on Wednesday attributed the guns laws in Indiana for the continued wave of violence in neighboring Chicago.
“We’re next to Indiana and if you got to a gun show in Indiana, you can purchase a gun without a background check. And so that’s what’s happening,” Mr. Durbin,a Democrat, said on MSNBC. “The drug gangs and these thugs are filling up the trunks of their car and heading into the neighborhoods of Chicago. And we see these gun violence crimes happening every single day.”
Mr. Durbin said that nearly 600 people have died in Chicago due to gun-related deaths so far this year.

Hey Dick. Drug gangs don’t go to gun shows to “buy” guns, they steal them from people who are legally allowed to own them. Don’t go blaming other states for the chaos that is Chicago.

One occasionally wonders what a difference might have been made if, all those decades ago, Obama and Ayers had poured the $110 million of Chicago Annenburg Clallenge swag into remedial education rather than pissing it off on socially progressive multi-cultural fluff?

Yeah, dumbass (Durbin), except IT’S AGAINST FEDERAL LAW TO BUY HANDGUNS ACROSS A STATE LINE WITHOUT TRANSFERRING IT THROUGH AN FFL. They always want more gun laws, and never realize that there is almost always a law in place that should have prevented the imaginary scenarios they come up with.
