Trump environment nominees pressed on federal climate report

President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as his top environmental adviser said Wednesday she is unconvinced by a new U.S. government assessment reaffirming that manmade carbon emissions are the primary cause of climate change.

Kathleen Hartnett White testified before a Senate committee weighing her confirmation as chair of the Council on Environmental Quality at the White House. White, who is from Texas, reiterated her view that carbon dioxide is a “plant nutrient,” not a pollutant.

Pressed by Democrats about the specific evidence linking carbon emissions to global warming, White grew visibly flustered. “I am not a scientist, but in my personal capacity I have many questions that remain unanswered by current climate policy,” said White, who holds academic degrees in East Asian studies and comparative literature. “We need to have a more precise explanation of the human role and the natural role.” […]

White served under former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, now Trump’s energy secretary, for six years on a commission overseeing that state’s environmental agency. White was fiercely critical of what she called the Obama administration’s “imperial EPA” and pushed back against stricter limits on air and water pollution. She is a senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a conservative think tank that has received funding from fossil-fuel companies that include Koch Industries, ExxonMobil and Chevron. White is also a member of the CO2 Coalition, a group that seeks to educate “thought leaders, policy makers, and the public about the important contribution made by carbon dioxide.” …

You can just hear the AP propagandists crying to take Kathleen out and burn her at the stake.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

The real question is....What should the temperature of the earth be at any place at any point in time.

In other words, it's impossible to know until that point in time exists.

Wow. The intrepid reporter, “Michael Biesecker”, identified all these “fossil fuel companies” as funders.

Wonder how much $ he gets from Tom Steyer or Soros?

She is totally right to be skeptical.

The militant PC “climate change” religious beliefs of the pawns across society today, in time, will go down as the most stupid rabidly anti-science air heads, in possibly forever!

In a tiny nutshell, demonstrative evidence shows the production of Co2 lagging temperature. Not temperature lagging Co2.

The amount of Co2 is determined by temperature, not temperature determined by Co2. Co2 production is one product of convection from temperature. Temperature cycles are determined by many natural and powerful interacting factors, far out of our control.

Additionally, Co2 has been measured, in ice core samples, at many times current levels, and in many different layers of ice strata. Some deep, some very deep, and some more shallow. Regardless, much higher levels of Co2 ultimately did not stop the ice from forming. Obviously, we have taken our ice core samples from them.

Many strata containing higher Co2 levels clearly predated evil-racist-white-mans-industrial revolution, and our genetic imperial tendencies, as well as current global population of man and animal!

So much has continued to change over the years. Most of he worlds deserts were either under water or lush and green, or both. At some point our current polar regions were teaming with cold blooded ectotherms. Some, resembling gators, have been found by the thousands, hundreds of miles north of the Artic Circle, and they did not migrate from Miami. Samples of fauna show the same. Evidence from around the world clearly shows the depth of surface water on the earth, being significantly greater than today. And the depth of water fluctuated.

Let me use a scientific term. *STUFF* we have no control over, happens!

I am going out the door, or would give the links to data.
