Donna Brazile only wanted to rehabilitate herself and cash in on writing the first tell-all from the Clinton inner circle. But she knew that they had unpleasant ways of making problems go away, so she needed some insurance against the worst sorts of retaliation. Her cryptic mentions of Seth Rich and subsequent refusal to elaborate on the subject may be a signal that killing her would set off mutual destruction.
Over the weekend, she confirmed that we crazy right-wing conspiracy nuts were correct in our worst suspicion: Seth Rich, it was reasonable to suspect, had leaked the DNC emails to Wikileaks and was rubbed out to send a message to other canaries that might get in the way of Hillary’s juggernaut. The killer(s) left his valuables behind, signaling that this was no robbery-gone-bad.
At the time, Brazile got the message. She shut her mouth and followed instructions, even shaming people who shared her worries about the murderous ruthlessness:

I think that's part of how she was speaking in "code". She finds his death very suspicious and troubling. There's a difference in their ages so she speaks of him as her "child".

You have well-described the monster, but missed the key point, I think, that it takes a HUGE and STRATEGICALLY POSITIONED FORCE to destroy the monster.
Yes ... I am one of those who believes there is a GREAT DEAL GOING ON, both in Mueller and the DoJ, that has not been revealed yet.
This huge multi-headed monster is going to take massive, sudden and devastating action, carefully planned, to be destroyed.
One part of the strategy appears to have been to lure the RATS, the GOPe and the Leftist Media into TOTAL SUPPORT for both Mueller and Sessions.

Now they must have incriminating evidence of Jeff Sessions and small farm animals or something similar because he won't go near the subject of their known criminality.

We should have a permanent thread of potential targets for political assassination, ranked according to danger level. I think this would put the Clintons (and their ilk) on notice and possibly provide some protection for the targets. At the very least, it would be an indication to investigators that the death is worth investigating as a murder, not as a “suicide” or “robbery gone wrong”.
The Clinton hit squad will be exposed upon her death.

You don't do this the brass ones she is exhibiting unless you hold a Trump Card, no pun intended. As someone said here and elsewhere, she knows where the bodies are buried, maybe she's telling team Clinton and Obama, hey guess what, don't even think about it, I got it covered, she is not a dummy IMHO...
