Come to remember, there was one female company clerk who was an E-4, if I remember correctly, and she was good. [Clerks were not to mobilize with us if we mobilized, ‘cause they were admin.] But they sent her away and replaced her with the little Hitler that I mentioned before. ;-)

Mistake, or maybe someone got paid off?

It’s sickening. Hopefully, the inspectors will look for any likelihood that bribery occurred, because a protected psychopath was involved.

It was a mistake that cost fourteen children their lives, and 12 adults.

Either way, I wouldn't be surprised. Kelley was obviously a psychopath spoiled and protected by others close to him, but incompetence and corruption are common in both military orderly rooms and civil service clerical offices.

It was for unarmed security work. That is probably the how.

He broke Federal Law and committed perjury before the shooting. Shows how much good more gun laws will do.

This could have very well been another of Obola’s attempts to salt the gun grabbing mine.

I was thinking the same thing. Obama is so evil that he would break hundreds of eggs to cook his gun-grabbing omelet.

I put nothing past his skinny, slim-disease @$$,

I would imagine it was an E-2 or E-3 clerk who obviously needed better supervision and training.

This "better supervision and training" thing has cost way too many lives this year so far. Navy and Air Force...maybe in the other services too, but we haven't heard of other incidents.

“..but maybe pedophiles have also gotten through the background checks to teach kids too.”

I had read where this punk had been convicted of child pornography - and he also taught kids at a church vacation Bible school (typically that is a week of volunteer work 5 hours a day or so during the summer).

It came during the Obama Administration when the Air Force was more interested in PC crap than being prepared a war fighting or preventing organization.

The Air Force Academy and its leaders have sounded like PC and diversity fools over the past couple of years. Perhaps a house-cleaning is due there too.

Somebody who didn’t take their job as seriously as they should have looks like. I know things get overlooked sometimes but at the moment this makes me angry nonetheless.

Probably some low-IQ schlub at the MPF was tasked on Friday afternoon with prepping a package to send upchannel to his/her/its MAJCOM counterpart and put it off until Monday because he/she/it wanted to get an early start on the weekend...

.. and he/she/it forgot all about it as the tasker found its way to the bottom of his/her/its list of priorities.

Exactly - they put a lot of responsibility and potential for the young ones to screw up some big stff while the "supervisor" gets fat in the break room.

When I retired, there were 2 such "briefing us" and they were giving out some seriously bad info that could have caused some of us problems if we took it at face value. I stopped the briefing, mentioned there seemed to be some bad info and asked them to get their supervisor. They "couldn't find their supervisor" so I asked for the Captain running the section - "couldn't be found" either. Ended up lodging formal complaint with the IG and it got blown off - I guess it's too inconvenient to ensure folks don't get screwed over by untrained typists who haven't a clue....means that others will end up not being identified for bad crap.
