Former President George W. Bush went off on his former vice president and defense secretary, stating bluntly that they did not make one f****** decision. Bush made the inflammatory remark about his former colleagues in Mark K. Updegroves book The Last Republicans: Inside the Extraordinary Relationship Between George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, which is scheduled to be released November 14.
The 43rd president pushed back against critics who claim he did not make major decisions during his presidency, and that former Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld made most of the important decisions in the White House.
They didnt make one f****** decision, Bush claimed. The fact that there was any doubt in anyones mind about who the president was, blows my mind.

Updegroves book describes the relationship between the younger Bush and his father, but his book is making headlines ahead of its November 14 release.
Other excerpts from the book that are already public quote both former presidents making disparaging statements about President Trump.
The elder Bush attacked Trumps leadership style and called the current president a blowhard.
The younger Bush also made his disdain for Trump known recently in an October speech at the George W. Bush Institute, where he rejected Trumps ideology and defended globalism.

Let's consign these dopes to the trash heap of history and move on.
“Must be. Ive never noticed W. using that kind of rhetoric before.”
You mean the 4-letter words?
One thing I never liked about him was his dirty mouth.
Way back in 1999 or so there was an interview with him in George magazine and he freely used the 4-letter words.
Later I realized his famous slow speech was due to his governing himself very carefully so as not to let forth with a stream of profanities, which was his normal state of talking.
Trump is political, but Trump is more of a corporate politics player than a national politics player, and that is a very good thing.
IMO, you hear it in statements like those he made when pulling out of the Paris Accord on Global Warming:
"...On these issues and so many more, were following through on our commitments. And I dont want anything to get in our way. I am fighting every day for the great people of this country. Therefore, in order to fulfill my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord -- (applause) -- thank you, thank you -- but begin negotiations to reenter either the Paris Accord or a really entirely new transaction on terms that are fair to the United States, its businesses, its workers, its people, its taxpayers. So were getting out. But we will start to negotiate, and we will see if we can make a deal thats fair. And if we can, thats great. And if we cant, thats fine..."
Think about that for a second..."..we will see if we can make a deal that's fair. And if we can, that's great. And if we can't...that's fine..."
That verbiage drives traditional politicians crazy. That is the way a business political player speaks, not the way a professional politician speaks. And it is way overdue for a change like this. (I still want to stand on my chair and clap and whistle when I read that quote from his speech!")
Hmmmm. That doesn’t really sound how he talks.
Yes it is and nary a bad word about Hillary and the Kenyan Usurper for 8 years. Which says a whole lot.
Agreed. More and more I am disappointed by Freepers jumping on without taking a statement in context.
Ole Dub seems intent on utterly destroying any vestige he has of a conservative legacy.
Looking back at GW’s 2 terms, it is obvious he should have listed to Cheney and Rumsfield instead of Daddy and Jebbie!
Such a vulgar lashing out from a former president! I thought that was one of the things they didn’t like about Trump...
Sounds like Dubya’s renewed his relationship with two old, bad friends: Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.
His wife who got away with a DUI killing as a young woman.
You are pretending they did what they did out of patriotism, instead of at the behest of the global order to which Trump is now a mortal threat. Remember that Prescott Bush helped fund Adolf Hitler from Wall St.
Bohemian Grove!
W. takes off the mask and grabs the shovel.
“Agreed. More and more I am disappointed by Freepers jumping on without taking a statement in context.”
Lazy thinking and kneejerk interpretations.....something that used to be a rarity on FR.
“Thats a helluva legacy to live down.”
GW left the presidency a broken man. Poor guy. And he got to watch his brother get chopped to pieces by Trump.
How very unpresidential of them to come out and attack a sitting president, only 1 year in at that.
I have two good things to say about GWB:
1. Al Gore
2. John Kerry
Yes, I know ... that’s damning with faint praise.
Unfortunately. I agree again.
