Former Democratic National Committee head Donna Brazile writes in a new book that she seriously contemplated replacing Hillary Clinton as the partys 2016 presidential nominee with then-Vice President Biden in the aftermath of Clintons fainting spell, in part because Clintons campaign was anemic and had taken on the odor of failure.
In an explosive new memoir, Brazile details widespread dysfunction and dissension throughout the Democratic Party, including secret deliberations over using her powers as interim DNC chair to initiate the process of removing Clinton and running mate Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.) from the ticket after Clintons Sept. 11, 2016, collapse in New York City.
Brazile writes that she considered a dozen combinations to replace the nominees and settled on Biden and Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.), the duo she felt most certain would win over enough working-class voters to defeat Republican Donald Trump. But then, she writes, I thought of Hillary, and all the women in the country who were so proud of and excited about her. I could not do this to them.
Brazile paints a scathing portrait of Clinton as a well-intentioned, historic candidate whose campaign was badly mismanaged, took minority constituencies for granted and made blunders with stiff and stupid messages. The campaign was so lacking in passion for the candidate, she writes, that its New York headquarters felt like a sterile hospital ward where someone had died.

Good point. I would.
And with the fear of Arkancide subsiding, anyone who is indicted will turn on her in the blink of an eye.
And farts.
Musn't forget farts.
I say BS to that.
Clinton was the favorite to win the presidency right into the election night voting count.
Who would remove an odds on favorite like Hillary and replace her with Joe Biden, which would split the party, and give Trump a chance to pick up some votes from disgruntled Hillary voters. -Tom
NO!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to see this with my own eyes!!!
“both parties have provisions to replace presidential and vice presidential nominees, after those nominees have been selected at the party conventions”
Fair enough. And I don’t know how much of the authority to do so would actually fall on her, but in practical terms, this was not a decision she had the power to make on her own. Remember. They’re all controlled. Such a decision would never be allowed by the puppet masters to be placed in the hands of one corrupt mid-level bureaucrat.
LOL, Tim Kaine. Yep, that dude did not help the ticket at all.
I still cringe with embarrassment, embarrassed for him and Democrats, at his disaster of a debate with Mike Pence.
Any fence sitters/undecided who made a decision based on VP candidates, I’m sure went overwhelmingly Republican.
You see the picture of Hillary with the ax saying “Donna I wanna talk”? :) funny comments and pictures.
I CANT believe it.
The dems are unraveling.
No she didn’t . . . she knew she would be found floating in a cesspool somewhere in D.C.
And, someone that doesn’t support the candidate doesn’t feed her questions to the debates.
What a liar!
And she feared for her life after Seth Rich was murdered..she knew the Clintons ordered the hit
And beaches don’t forget beaches..those investigating the Clintons also end up dead on the beach
She may even be Vince Fostered in a tragic car accident or walk home from a bar late one night.
You know the Clintons.
THAT’S what it implies, certainly.
This is getting interesting.
I won’t use the word good because the kid died.
But interesting.
And GOOD if someone PAYS for his death.
The Clintons would make Gotti proud.
She’s running, as is her friend, Warren.
But can I still wear my pussy-hat?
Or to put it another way, Donna Brazile is no power broker. She was placed in her position, not because of merit, but because those who placed her there knew she knew how to play her role. Now that the house of cards is falling down, she’s trying to jump out in front to pretend she’s something she never was. Par for the course for leftists.
This could be read as “I am to blame for Trump becoming President. I could have put Biden in, and he would have won.”
How can she back off of claims she's already made in her book? (Reminds me of the time Charles Barkley claimed he was misquoted in his own autobiography.)
