So the Obozo admin. knew with certainty, at least since 2011, that Al Jazeera was a close working ally of AL Qaeda (no surprise ofc), and also that Iran (despite the supposed Shia/Sunni divide) was happy to provide much logistical, training, and resource support to Al Qaeda over many years.
Therefore, Al Jazeera, Qatar, and Iran all should have been crushed in recent years.
