Half of Millennials Want to Live Under Communism or Socialism? Let’s Give Them the Chance!
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | November 3, 2017 | Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: The Daily Caller: “Nearly one-in-five Millennials consider Joseph Stalin and Kim Jong-Un ‘heroes,’ according to a Thursday poll. The poll demonstrated an increase in acceptance of socialism and communism among American Millennials and was released by the Victims of Communism Memorial Fund. One-half of Millennials and one-third of Americans would prefer to reside in a socialist or communist nation instead of a capitalist democracy, according to the poll.”

Here’s some numbers. Twenty-three percent of Americans between 21 and 29 consider Stalin a hero. Twenty-six percent of them consider Lenin a hero. These are two of the biggest mass murderers in world history. Twenty-three percent think Kim Jong Un of North Korea is a hero. One-fifth of Millennials surveyed had a positive opinion of Karl Marx.

The study also found that 71% of Millennials could not pinpoint the definition of communism. They just like it. But they don’t know how to define it. Communism was defined right in front of them; they couldn’t choose it. They didn’t know what it was. Eighty percent, 80% of Millennials did not know how many lives were lost as a result of communism. They are being taught of the virtues of communism. They are being propagandized and indoctrinated with the utopian aspects of communism.

And, of course, there’s no such thing as utopia. But in communism circles, there is. It’s there. It’s there. We’ve been close a couple times. We haven’t gotten there yet, but we can get there. When you have enough money and the right people, we could get there. And that’s how it’s portrayed. America is imperfect, not capable of being perfected. America’s racist and bigoted, it’s unfair, it’s mean-spirited. And this is how these young people have been raised. It’s how they’ve been taught. They have no idea how to define communism. They just think it’s fairer. It’s more sustainable.

I’m gonna call Larry Arnn. I’ll call Larry Arnn at Hillsdale College, say, “Larry, I want you to propose something. Not for Hillsdale ’cause your students don’t need it. A mandatory program for all college graduates. Recreate the old JFK Peace Corps here, only this is mandatory. All college graduates must take six months to live in Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, or parts of the ChiCom empire.”

And if they survive the six months, and if they are not put in jail for life, if they don’t try to leave, if they stay there, if they willingly fulfill the six-month requirement, then I think they’ll be far more appreciative of capitalism and America and freedom when they get out.

In other words, they don’t think anything’s wrong with communism? They think it’s great? They think heroes are made of people like Lenin and Stalin? Make ’em live there for six months instead of registering for the Selective Service. I know this approach works. It works every time it’s tried.

Send people to the various hellholes on earth under the guise that they are oasis of liberty and freedom and justice and so forth. Position it as a reward. You love communism? You can be sent to your favorite communist country for six months on us. Where do you want to go? Venezuela? We’ll send you. We need to somehow get the BS that’s been implanted in their brains somehow eradicated.

I also don’t trust direct polls of Millennials attitudes. They tend to be quirky and treat things as a joke that don’t directly influence themselves - polls would be a good example.

Why don't we have such an exchange program? The islamo-fascists we can exchange for Christians in the middle-east. The antifa-fascists we can exchange for capitalists from eastern-europe. The blm-fascists get handed off in north-africa in a trade for south-africans. What a great idea this is? Everybody gets what they want. How can we pull it off?

What is the difference between Nazi socialism and Communist socialism?

No one says real Nazism has never been tried.

Better still, we should follow the Founders' advice and let the ideas of liberty be circulated in every nook and cranny of academia, despite the old dead Liberal/Progressive minds who already inhabit the premises.

Begin with simple little booklets like Dr. Kenneth Ryker's Freedom in a Nutshell, while enclosing recent news stories about Venezuela's fantastic story of Socialism's ideas and dire consequences.

Even provide free tickets to Venezuela for a month's stay.

The Ivory Tower Liberals/Progressives who spout their theories on college campuses might find that students would challenge them more vociferously if they had any framework for understanding the difference between the ideas of liberty (America's founding ideas) and the ideas of tyranny (America's Progressive Movement ideas).

They think this way because they were not taught history.. they were given everything and had no responsibility, no consequences for anything.. they were not taught America is the best and greatest.. and not taught what communism is or does to the people.

In other words, they are ignorant.

Give them a row boat, a compass, some food and water. Direct them to Cuba. The climate is good and being told what to think and what to do is what they do already.

If that’s what they want then I get to be a party official and they can be potato farmers. So as not to harm the environment they can only use 18th century technology.

Nah, just wait for State and Municipal bond defaults and send them too: NY, IL, CT, or California, especially if CALPER's goes teets up...

Good one. Real Nazism lasted exactly 12 years, 1933-1945.

OTOH, Communism lasted 76 years in Russia (1917-1993), 58 years in Cuba (so far), 68 years in China (so far), 71 years in North Korea (so far), 3 years in Chile (1970-1973) more than a decade in Venezuela, etc.

Even though the models may have been a little different, there is no place where it has been tried without leaving a legacy of death and destruction. And yet its advocates refuse to put down either the Kool Aid or the bong pipe to see with their own eyes. It is frustrating as hell!

Just take away half their Halloween candy(per Trump Junior’s tweet) and give it to anyone else and they will melt like the snowflakes they are.

I don't buy this either.

I know it's fashionable to consider Millenials a bunch of Obamabots. As many writers have said, that's hardly a well-founded generalization. Yes, youths tend to vote liberal but before and after polls suggested a significant proportion of millenials broke for Trump at the end, possibly handing him the election.

Further, Deplorable parents are undoubtedly advising Deplorable millenials to hang up when a telemarketer calls, or walk away from dopes with clipboards, thus causing an underweighting in polls.

Finally, remember that by most accounts, at the time of the Revolution, 20% were Loyalists, 33-45% were Patriots, and the rest were ballast. If you replace Loyalist with statist, and Patriots with Deplorables, we are right where we started.

I thnk we are seeing history repeat itself. The left/Loyalists are painting the Patriots/Deplorables as intransigent dolts who must be brought to their knees and Kiss the Ring, for their own good. In turn, the Patriots/Deplorables are not going quietly into the night, using new media to outsmart the Establishment and bring otherwise neutral parties to the side of truth and freedom.

In turn, the kids of Deplorables likely are as much "underground" as are their parents in polls, etc. Where they ARE visible is on memes and the like....have you ever seen how many pro-Trump meme pics there are vs anti-Trump? I doubt that's coming from a bunch of geezers. Thus, I wouldn't so easily assume the millenials are all commies.

I do exactly this myself. I give them fake info, or more than not, I just hang up - leaving lazy pollsters to sample the low IQ daytime TV and Ellen watchers who have nothing better to do. My millennial kids do the same.
