There are moments in a campaign when you can feel the momentum shift in the other guys direction. That seems to be happening in Virginia now.
With a week to go before Election Day, the shift could lead to Republican gubernatorial nominee Ed Gillespie snatching victory from Democratic nominee Ralph Northam.
The source of the change is an ad not from the Northam campaign but from an outside group, the Latino Victory Fund.

Good, it was a vicious, disgusting ad. The problem with these groups advocating for a candidate is they dont know the constituents
It shows the ugly underbelly of the left

Does it really matter who is the next governor of VA? Both candidates are anti-Trump, open borders, pro amnesty pimips.
VA loses either way.

That would be a nice pickup.

It matters because the MSM is chomping at the bit to declare a Dem victory as a referendum against Trump.

I'm just concerned that unless Gillespie wins by a 5%+ margin, the crooked McAuliffe machine will “find” enough ballot boxes to put Northam over the top. Virginia has a habit of always mysteriously coming up with just enough votes in late election night counting to put the democrat over the top in a close race, even if the Republican has led all night long..

A lot of people are less than enthusiastic about having to vote for RINO Gillespie. It is like that ad was an early Chirstmas gift for the Ed Gellispe campaign.

Yes it does.
If the Dem wins we will lose two House seats through redistricting.

It is not really that important. It is one 4 year term limited term. The legslature is solid R. Like you said it is amnesty vs amnesty.

An Eddie G. win gives the Establishment GOP cred. It lends credence that the Trump is losing momentum to the Establishment. I cannot stomach the thought of Karl Rove preening on Fox. I’d rather the Dem beat the RINO. I play the long game.

This is a complete mischaracterization of Ed Gillespie and the campaign he is running. Stop spreading enemy propaganda.

The ridiculous pick up truck ad is back firing. That ad was so horrible I couldn't help but wonder if it was put together by a pro-Gillespie organization.
