Jeff Flake defends Schumer against Trump Twitter attacks (good riddance, amnesty RINO!)

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake defended the top Democrat in the Senate against attacks from President Donald Trump, who blamed the deadly New York City terror attack on a program that Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer helped shape but later tried to end.

Trump tweeted Wednesday morning that suspect Sayfullo Saipov, an Uzbek immigrant, came to the country through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program, which Trump described as a "Chuck Schumer beauty."

Flake has over a year left in office and NOTHING to lose. McCain? Nothing to lose, but an indefinite departure date.

Get used to hearing them for a while.

Flake isn’t running because he was polling in the TEENS. He ran 5 years ago as a Tea Party conservative.

ACU gives him a lifetime rating of 93, but this year’s rating was 79. FreedomWorks gives him a lifetime score of 95. Heritage gives him a lifetime score of 73, a current year of 67, and the average Republican senator 56.

When he was in the House, he was reasonably conservative. Nothing in his lifetime record indicated he would go hard left the day after the election - which is what he did. And Arizona was looking for a chance to get rid of him, which is why his polling was in the teens.

Sometimes I think McCain will make a statement saying he is cured of cancer and he will continue doing what he’s been doing.
That is a nightmare scenario!!

The spin now is that Schumer “tried to end” the visa lottery program, but was blocked by Republicans.

False.

Actually Schumer was just going to fold the 50,000 lottery visas into a massive amnesty of millions of green cards for illegals. He would never support a clean bill to end the visa lottery program. The GOP (the good guys in it) blocked the massive Amnesty, not some specific plan to end the visa lottery.

Yeah, he means the program would have ended if only the republicans had gone along with his Gang of 8 amnesty bill.

Nice try, Chuckie.

Maybe the rats have dirt on him.

Because he will soon have to live under the same rules and will be subject to the same bureaucratic government tyranny as normal Americans have been compelled to do for decades, Flake is furious with America.

So who does he turn to for comfort and support? -- Why, it's the leaders and people of the America-hating Left! (A not-surprising reaction if you think about it.)

Even by the low, low standards of the RINOs, Flake is possibly the worst senator in the history of the Republic.

A traitor who has the blood of many on his hands

The only good thing that Jeff Flake has done in his political career is to announce his resignation from the Senate. Between him and McCain, the voters of AZ should be ashamed of themselves.
