Trump told former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon that he blames Kushner for the firings of former national security adviser Mike Flynn and former FBI Director James Comey, Vanity Fair reported Wednesday.

“Jared is the worst political adviser in the White House in modern history,” former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg told the publication.

“I’m only saying publicly what everyone says behind the scenes at Fox News, in conservative media, and the Senate and Congress,” he added.

What’s worse than giving bad advice? Following it.

Firing Comey was a smart move. Should have done it on day 1.

There has been a lot of stuff coming through the Washington Examiner lately. What’s their deal?

I’ve said it previously. Know a family friend who worked for the Trump campaign since its inception. Lewandowski was the engine behind the Trump Train. Kushner told Trump multiple times to tone down the “build the wall” rhetoric but Corey L said to ramp it up more. He’s a lib pretending to be a conservative. The clown has been given too much credit for nothing.

Bannon and others believe Comey should have been kept on as the Director of the FBI.

They’re insane, no gentler way of putting it.

Javanka are both far left liberals.

Why would Trump think they understand the movement that elected
him President.

‘The clown has been given too much credit for nothing.’

What has he been given credit for? Yesterday I saw him given credit (multiple times) for Manafort’s addition to the Trump campaign. It was a 100 percent lie. Roger Stone recommended Manafort.

Trump would not bad-talk his own family, so I find this dubious.

Clarification: the ‘he,’ in my prior post is Jared Kushner.

Don't believe it for a minute.

They were going to clean out the FBI. It was discussed after the election and before he took office.

I’m going to assume this story is phony. I find it hard to believe that Donald Trump ever really expected to get sound political advice from a “senior White House advisor” who is all of 36 years old and whose only qualification for the job is that he’s married to the president’s daughter.

examiner reporting on what vanity fair is reporting... sourced by:

- prominent Republican close to WH
- one person who’s been briefed on Trump’s thinking says
- According to two sources
- according to a source briefed on the call
- according to someone familiar with the conversation

all concrete stuff right there.

“What has he been given credit for?”

according to Forbes, he’s the “one” who got Trump elected.

Our family friend told us there was a 20 man team who were in charge of social media and Kushner rarely talked to these guys. Trump hired them personally and the lead guy I understand turned down Trump for a govt job to work in silicon valley to do his own thing. Forgot what his name was..

‘one person who’s been briefed on Trump’s thinking’

This is always my favorite. The traditional wording is, ‘According to a person familiar with Trump’s thinking.’

It has come to sound more like a punchline than anything else. Always good for a laugh.
