Immigration is not about having “diversity” of the people coming to the US-it is about whether they bring anything to the table ability wise to merit being considered, perhaps accepted and requisite naturalization as part of the assimilation. Not on a temporary “diversity lottery” green card PERMANENT resident status— no naturalization. NOT a citizen. Period. This is who and how they stay here for ever.

Yep, my post just followed yours. Imagine— diversity in the people from out of our country— like that is some kind of need. Coming to the US as a potential citizen is an honor— not something that ticks off a box.
Mark Levin is saying diversity visa lottery. I’ve read there are only two requirements to participate in the DV program, other than the willingness to drop everything and move to the US: to have a high school diploma (or comparable work experience), and to be a citizen of a country that has sent less than 50,000 immigrants to the US in the previous five years.
