Texans players met late Saturday to discuss how to protest as a team against Houstons owner Bob McNair over his controversial inmates running the prison comment.
The players could decide to all kneel together, and also discussed peeling the Texans decal off of their helmets or raising their fists, according to ESPN.
Whatever their demonstration winds up being, it wont be revealed before the game against the Seahawks.
McNair apologized for his words multiple time this weekend, saying: I am truly sorry to the players for how this has impacted them and the perception that it has created of me, which could not be further from the truth.

But they’ll still accept their paychecks.
After this Tuesday’s trading deadline passes, fire all of them and they will not have a job, or a paycheck, until next season.

How about a $250,000 fine for each player who kneels or does anything other than stand quietly? We’ll see how strongly they care about this.
As soon as salaries start to drop the knees will come up.
You said the players shouldn’t be offended by being called “inmates”, unless they actually were inmates.
I posed the same question to you, using an epithet you would likely find offensive, if applied to you.
You didn’t answer that question.
I’m saying McNair didn’t do what you said. But, I know you like to start arguments so I’ll answer your question. “I’d be madder than a football player that was called an inmate.”
Why would you be mad? You're not an establishment hack from the GOP wing of the Uniparty, are you?
Of course you're not, so you shouldn't be offended if I called you that. Then again, you just said you'd get mad, so I'm confused.
Up until now, the Texans were the only team to not disrespect our country. I was in the truck yesterday listening to the game on the radio and I heard that most of the team had taken a knee. That is IT for me and the spoiled punks in the nfl. The ‘87 strike was bad enough, but this takes the cake.
“DEAR OWNERS OF SPORT STEAMS: FIRE THEM ALL AND START OVER NEXT YEAR!.’
I could not agree more! Many young players available with talent and no “attitude”.
Yep! The few whiteys that are allowed to play are usually the better players in the league. The Detroit Lions have a running back, Zach Zenner, who broke the college record with 3 straight 2,000 yard rushing seasons. Undrafted!!! Ked the league in preseason rushing yards, now 5th on the Lions...the stinking Lions depth cart. The Packers allowed Jordy Nelson to rot for 3 years and didn’t play him until every option was hurt. They have a freak athkete, Jeff Janis who is 6 ft 2, 225 lbs, runs a 4.3, had a huge game in the NFC championship a couple years back with a game tying TD. Now he rots on the bench only returning kicks while a bunch of slow, stone handed nobodies play ahead of him. Christian McCaffreys career is being sabotaged in Carolina. An amazing running back gets 2 or 3 carries a game? WTH? It’s literally criminal what is going on.
Exactly insubordination is a summary firing offense, period.
Fire them all, trust me you can find others to take their place, even if you lose the rest of your games your earn more support and respect than you will by letting these $h1theads keep playing
