Texans players met late Saturday to discuss how to protest as a team against Houstons owner Bob McNair over his controversial inmates running the prison comment.
The players could decide to all kneel together, and also discussed peeling the Texans decal off of their helmets or raising their fists, according to ESPN.
Whatever their demonstration winds up being, it wont be revealed before the game against the Seahawks.
McNair apologized for his words multiple time this weekend, saying: I am truly sorry to the players for how this has impacted them and the perception that it has created of me, which could not be further from the truth.

The irony is, that of the four major professional sports leagues, it is the NFL that is almost exclusively composed of US Citizens.
The NBA, MLB and NHL all have a significant number of foreign players. But they are more respectful of our flag and anthem than NFL players.
True, the NBA too. They keep the ball away from whitey. I hardly ever watch it. The NFL is the same way. Drop balls on purpose, play harder for black QB’s. Throw games to help black coaches on the opposing side. It’s a big inner city corrupt circus. Yet many years the team with the most white guys wins the SB. The discrimination in both of those leagues is massive. The rotten but kissing college and NFL coaches allowed it all.
Any player that removes the team decal as a coach or owners, I would not allow on the field. The idiots kneeling or raising a fist, well no one cares anymore because we aren’t watching!
It reminds me of when the Black DC mayor said "niggardly" and the blacks all went NUTSO!!
Inner city education must be worse than I thought!
Children, all of them. So what and who cares.
The only time to remove the decal is to do it like Parcells did when he coached the Cowboys.
In Training Camp, you had to earn the star on your helmet.
Those helmets aren’t their property, are they? They would be defacing another person’s property, namely the team owner who properly nailed them as the inmates at the asylum.
US born black Americans are the most ungrateful, disrespectful bunch I’ve ever seen.
Do they even KNOW that one of the four who were killed during the battle the anthem was written about was black?
Do they even know which WAR the anthem is about? No less battle?
Your point about the other teams is well taken.
You know who else has said that same exact thing? My friends from Nigeria.
Who paid for those helmets? Certainly not the players. They’re part of a uniform provided by their employer. That’s willful destruction of property in my opinion. Any player who deliberately removes the team logo from any part of the uniform should immediately be fired.
And here is where political correctness gets you to!
Any blue-vested Walmart employee trying to do the same thing would be fired on the spot.
The owners & media are responsible for coddling these ungrateful pathetic losers. Give em’ an inch and you see where it leads.
The inmates are most definitely running the prison.
Just like in Brazil.
Stick a fork in the NFL, it’s done.
Did “inmates” hit too close to home for these guys?
What warm people, the ones i’ve met.
A group of about 7 of obama’s sons tried to harrass me at the staten island ferry. When they realized I might get pummeled but one or two of them would get hurt really badly first, they left me alone.
A black woman with an accent came over and apologized for her people.
I told her they’re not her people. Don’t know if that was right or not.
“And not a single f___ will be given.”
Au contrare! The f*cks are coming from the former fans. And those are the f*cks that count for all of them. Right behind HIllary being indicted, comes the NFL going under in my book of fervent wishes. Then we can turn their “public paid arenas”
Into “Christians vs. Democrats,” with the Christians having the lions!
