Carl Bernstein said yesterday on CNN that Special Counsel Robert Mueller may be wanting "to send a signal to other prospective defendants," by filing his first charges yesterday in the Russia investigation.
"If this person who has been indicted, or persons, are facing 20 to 40 to 50 years for whatever these crimes are - related to collusion or not - there may be others who are subject to similar charges who have further knowledge about dealings with Russia...There are a lot of intentions that the special council is trying to convey here, I suspect."
Why it matters: The charges filed by Mueller yesterday could result in anyone charged being taken into custody by Monday.
Yes, in a Constitutional republic. In totalitarian regimes the state identifies the criminal and comes up with the felony charges later on.

Someone on Mueller's team leaked information to CNN.
And then NYT, ABC, radio, etc., picks up the news from CNN and quotes and references the CNN article.

There were stories about 4 weeks ago that Mueller was teaming up with NY AG Schneiderman on this. You could infer that they are going to bring charges specifically at the state level so that there is no pardon available to Trump.
8 years of infamy and no indictments against, IRS officials, Hillary, etc. Proves the Repubs are pathetically weak.
It doesn’t matter who it is or what the charges are. When the Uranium One deal started to come out someone had to be charged and fast. Weinstein was no longer enough of a diversion. A new fire had to be lit in the corner to distract from the raging inferno about to engulf the building. Mueller had to change the narrative back to the Trump or someone that can be linked to him. Mueller files on Friday and immediately there is a leak, giving the MSM a subject and some time to fan up speculation and get control of the narrative.

If “charges” were ever made to those deserving, there would be a lot of empty seats on both sides of the aisle, in numerous positions within many branches of government thus pulling to cork for a lot of swamp draining. Pray that Mueller makes such charges, meaning there are no “sacred cows” left standing. The swamp definitely needs draining and eventually purging.
I think Mueller is hearing footsteps. And Hannity is the middle linebacker coming after him. Hannity is always mention the three amigoes. And Hannity is only getting bolder. Mueller wants Hannity go away but its not going to happen. Hannity is into this mixed martial arts program and is not backing down.The timing of this release is because Hannity keeps pounding.
