Fusion was doing a lot of work for the Russian government. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were hired guns for Iran, North Korea and all the other worst actors in the world...

IMO, it was leaked to the press this week for a reason and to lay a “trap”...reports are 9 millions dollars of democratic money went to fusion and fussion funded the dirt......but when the bank records are released the will show only a very small amount of that money actually went to fund the dossier and/or only indirectly funded it will all kinds of legal loopholes etc..

result: takes the wind out of the sails because of the huge build up...not as bad of people thought type stuff.....

on the other hand if the report wasn’t leaked and we get the “surprise” that the DNC helped fund this research even indirectly today..that will be the shock headline from here on out..

They have been doing this psychological warfare crap for 25 years....we should all know better..it was leaked for a reason

of course I hope I am wrong :)

Fusion didn't get the subpoena for their bank records. Their bank did.

You can't really "cook books" when you have bank records of transactions of deposits and withdrawals tied to a myriad of other banks.

Congress can’t recommend an indictment. They can only refer it to the U.S. Justice Department for investigation and (potential) prosecution.

Yep - little by little Trump has been gathering info and gaining control. He’s being methodical and dogged as he goes about the business of clearing the swamp’s drain pipes for the deluge they will have to handle.

I totally agree. As he builds his team and turns them loose, there will be a major impact. Trump doesn't pussy foot around, his team is working in overdrive because that is what he expects and demands. I don't think Washington has ever seen anyone like him. I only hope he can stay out of the tentacles of the swamp as it is much larger than anyone can imagine.

And the WSJ article didn’t even mention the biggest bombshell of them all, namely the FBI CI who is set to testify before Congress regarding Uranium One. Said CI is also said to have documents, tapes, and video tapes.

As far as I can tell, DOJ is asleep at the wheel.

As far as I can tell, North Korea doesn't even exist because I've never been there.

A Congressional subpoena is used to get something into the public eye for political purposes, not for criminal prosecution. The real story here is going on behind the scenes, and I'm not sure I can even guess at how it will unfold.

Bank records generally only show cash in and out — not what the cash was buying.

“If/when the records are turned over, I expect they’ll be “cooked books”, and not the real thing. They’re stalling to buy time to create a new set of records with no damning evidence in them.”

the records will be coming to Congress directly from their bank. the bank can’t afford to fake said records or it will lose its Federal license/FDIC insurance, top execs will be prosecuted and sent to jail, and the bank will be sued out of existence by its shareholders.

I'm not surprised at all. Everything you needed to know about Donald Trump was put out there in plain sight back in May of last year with one seemingly silly, inconsequential incident:

Donald Trump "John Miller" Story (1991)

This story really was silly and inconsequential in the larger scheme of the campaign, but the underlying story here starts at around the 4:20 mark of the video clip posted above.

The audio tape of Donald Trump allegedly posing as a PR representative named "John Miller" back in 1991 was leaked to the Washington Post in May of 2016. All indications are that Donald Trump leaked this tape himself.

Just think about that, folks. Donald Trump sat on that audio tape for 25 years, waiting for the perfect opportunity to leak it to the mainstream media.

TWENTY.
FIVE.
YEARS.

This is not a normal man by any objective measure. And thank God for that.

Someone suggested yesterday that Fusion GPS leaked the information to the media in a desperate attempt to make the subpoena of their bank records unnecessary.

They're not afraid of what these bank records say about the work they did on this "Trump dossier" for the DNC and a GOP donor. They're afraid of what else the bank records will reveal about their dealings with other clients inside and outside the U.S.

WSJ has become our friend.

Don't be fooled, this is an opinion piece by the only conservative on the payroll. Yesterday, the news piece on this was buried on page 5. Next to it was an article on Harvard Analytica to show that "See, they all do it."

The WSJ has run something negative about Trump every day since he was nominated. Sometimes it's subtle but you can always find it. The managing editor even called all the reporters out on their bias but it hasn't stopped.

Yah, but if the payee on the check is "Osama bin Laden Remodeling Inc." (or billions in US cash on pallets to the Mullahs in Iran) that's kinda hard to spin.

Most people in the US will recognize the US Hostage Crisis under Dhimmi Carter if you remind them.

Your are naive. HSBC did billions for the drug cartels and got a sweetheart slap on the wrist from then US Attorney for New York, somebody named Lynch; and the counsel for HSBC was somebody named Comey.
