God help us!
Today seems that both politics and religion suffer from posers.
BTW, consider me Lutheran!
In the 1950’s Brown attended Sacred Heart Novitiate, a Jesuit novice house. If he had completed his studies and then studied at and graduated from a seminary he would have become a Catholic priest. Brown left Sacred Heart after three years.
Brown studied Zen Buddhism in Japan in the 1980’s.
The very least Francis could be doing is raising theological questions on the assertions made in the Islamic codex (which is their code of observance and behavior) known as Sharia, Beginning with this question

Instead of equating their bizarre concepts of what a Monotheistic Creator is and requires. With what JudeoChristian beliefs are. While they in the belief that they are following Gods command ruthlessly murdering and torturing non believers and destroying their edifices.
Jerry Brown is a former Jesuit. Really.
Look for hypocrisy in the dictionary and you should find a picture of the Vatican.
I really wish we had a Catholic pope.
The world is well on its way. Not there yet but stuff like this.....
Wait a minute—they want the guy to fly all the way from California to the Vatican wasting/er using precious natural resources...to lecture the Vatican about everyone wasting natural resources.
As the joke goes, if God wanted Jerry Brown at the Vatican he would snap his fingers and put him there. :-)
Manipulative, ruthless, greedy globalist Idiocy gone to seed.
I think we’re almost there IMHO - almost...
Sheesh.

Please discern prayerfully where you want to be. Francis is temporary, like Bill Clinton and Obama were. And Lutherans don’t have the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.
John 6:63. It is the spirit that gives life; the body is of no account; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
You won’t find God in ritual, it must come from the heart.
The Blessed Sacrament is the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
That’s the real Heart. It has nothing to do with ritual.
