Why do liberals never complain about ‘gender appropriation?’
Guess this means we can’t watch the ending credits of the original Hawaii Five-O show and dream about being one of the oarsmen. That would be appropriating the Polynesian cultural heritage. And take off that lei of flowers at the next luau you go to.
As a middle aged white guy, I just got my next costume. Hopefully Moana has a beer in her hand at parties.
As a middle-aged white guy, I’m OK with maintaining distance between my culture and others; they don’t have to worry about me “culturally appropriating” anything. Next they’ll complain I ignore their culture...

How about other cultures stop appropriating my culture?
*No more blond hair-dye
*No more hair straitening
*No more European style clothing (that goes for the men too, they can wear sack cloth and loin cloths)
*No more English Language
*No more fake blue or green eye contact lenses
*No more European Cars (yes bye-bye Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc)
*No more Spanish Language Classes
*No more French Cooking Classes
*No more Sports (invent your own)
*No more Phones, TV’s or any other technologies (again invent your own, you can do it!)
And they better remove the electricity, toilets and telephones from their homes because I’m pretty sure white guys invented those, too.
White people basically invented modern civilization.
A point that seems to be ignored from the Grievance Committee is that Disney Inc. isn’t exactly Polynesian either. So aren’t they “appropriating” that culture — for profit, no less — when they make a cartoon about a romanticized version of a Polynesian “princess?”
My daughter is going to be Rapunzel, because she’s WHITE! J/k, my daughter is going to be Rapunzel because we got the costume for $2 at The Salvation Army.
