A longtime political operative known for pulling unhinged stunts in the service of Democrats was allowed to get dangerously close to the president today.
Wearing a suit and posing as a member of the press pool, Ryan Clayton screamed "Trump is treason!" and threw a handful of Russian flags at the president as he walked alongside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on his way to a GOP Senate lunch at the Capitol.
Clayton, who was arrested at the scene, is a member of the Robert Creamer group "Americans Take Action," according to Project Veritas' James O'Keefe.
Tuesday's incident wasn't the first time Clayton had used tiny Russian flags as a political prop. Last February, the operative handed out the flags to conservatives attending CPAC in an effort to manufacture an unflattering photo op.
He was also apprehended in a Senate office building after throwing Russian flags at Jared Kushner last July.
Robert Creamer is the longtime Alinskyite community organizer, convicted felon, and frequent Obama White House visitor whose nefarious campaign schemes were exposed by Project Veritas before the 2016 election.
After the election, O'Keefe's citizen journalism group Project Veritas conducted an investigation into some of the groups planning on disrupting the Trump inauguration. One of the stings went awry when members of the progressive group "Undercurrent" grew suspicious and turned on the young, female Project Veritas journalist midway through the investigation.
Clayton and another operative, Lauren Windsor, harassed and intimidated the young woman as she desperately hailed a taxi, tormenting her with obscene taunts for what probably felt like an eternity. As she entered the taxi, both Windsor and Clayton sent Project Veritas Bob Creamer's regards. "You've been creamed!" they shrieked.
Clayton also disrupted James O'Keefe's talk at a private event in New York City by screaming and making a commotion in front of the door of the venue. O'Keefe surmised that it was an attempt to "bird-dog" him into reacting violently.
"Clayton was ejected from the restaurant, and the police were called," O'Keefe said. "I confronted him outside as he was surrounded by NYPD about the ridiculous and libelous allegations," he continued, referring to Clayton's crazed taunts accusing him of being a molester.
"Violence, agitation, aggression -- these people are unhinged and dangerous," O'Keefe said at the time.
Clayton also aggressively harassed the late, great Andrew Breitbart at the 2011 Netroots Nation conference in Minneapolis, Minn., after the conservative media mogul popped up at the left-wing convention.
Clayton was quickly apprehended after throwing the flags at the president. Trump and McConnell kept walking as if nothing had happened.
McConnell later told reporters that he had not even noticed that anything had happened.
You guys were hollering so loud frankly I didnt even notice it, the Senate Majority leader told reporters.
Busy digging up their guns, I reckon.
Leave your guns at home 1 inch
Don't take your guns to town
Well okay, go ahead just this once.
“The press in the crowd had to know he wasnt the press and aided him in his attack”
The secret service and police need to be shaken up.
bkmk
I wonder why someone in the crowd (a Trump supporter, natch) didn’t yell ‘GUN!’ the moment he started tossing the flags.
Great hilarity would have ensued.
like Bob Creamer, Clayton wrote for Huffington Post.

Robert Creamer's "dirty tricks" organization up and running again.
Ping !
Thanks for the reminder.
Robert Creamer is an American political consultant, community organizer, and author. He is the husband of Democratic congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, the Congressional Representative for Illinois’s 9th congressional district.[1] His firm, Democracy Partners, works with issue campaigns. He also leads the nonprofit group Americans United for Change.[2]
In 2005, Creamer pleaded guilty to tax violations and $2.3 million in bank fraud in relation to paying checks with insufficient funds, to fund his public interest group in the 1990s.[1] He repaid the funds, and was convicted and sentenced to five months in prison at Terre Haute and eleven months house arrest.[2][3]
Creamer resigned from his consulting position with the Democratic National Committee in October 2016 after a video was released which showed him discussing a scheme to pay people to incite violence at rallies for the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.[4][5] The footage showed Creamer discussing fraudulent voting arrangements, although he did not endorse the methods discussed and voiced concern to the potential donor that those efforts would be tantamount to voter fraud. Creamer and Democratic Party spokespeople subsequently described the conversations as “hypothetical” and denied that the tactics described had been used.[4]
The Secret Service should have given him a .40 cal third eye when his hand was still in the air.
“The dude needs a good butt whooping or two or three!”
He’d probably enjoy it too much.
Hopefully some good Patriot will put this idiot in a choke hold ....
Talk is cheap !..
Actions speak louder than words !
Creamer spent several visits with former _resident Obama in the White Hut.
Please note that Creamer resigned from the DNC from a consultant position.
A consultant position is a paid position, which means he isn't paid;
but, it doesn't preclude him from carrying out the same illegal "pay-for-play", and dirty tactics.
He has the same crazy look as the Runaway Bride.
