Just as key congressional panels open new probes into the still-smoking debris of last year’s election, the revelation that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid as much $9 million for the discredited Russian dossier on Donald Trump flips the collusion script on its head.
Now it’s Democrats’ turn in the barrel.
The explosive report in the Washington Post goes a long way to explaining how the dossier was so widely spread among political reporters during the election. The Clinton camp must have passed it out like Halloween candy to its media handmaidens.
News organizations tried for months to confirm the salacious details, but couldn’t. The document became public when BuzzFeed, a loud Clinton booster, published it 10 days before the inauguration, while acknowledging it couldn’t verify the contents.

If that doc was used to get a FICA warrant then Comey committed a serious crime. You are in trouble if you knowingly use false documentation to get a warrant. You have to verify the info in the doc. Something which no one has been able to do. Judicial Watch and likely others are on the case.
Time for Trump to fire Meuller and team, demand restitution from Meuller and team, reinstate Sessions from recusal-land and tell him to get to work!
I'll bet anyone $100 to FR that Hillary will not see jail time by the next presidential election.

In a normal country....someone would be going to jail, and three or four folks would be ‘retired’ from politics and public life.
I think at least two or three GOP senators are probably tied into this as well...so trying to have a Senate investigation is worthless.

I was surprised that the WaPo actually did cover this. This article is referring to the WaPo article. I guess they figured they would have to put it out there and now they can defend it.
A question: Has it been reported whether or not Hillary of Dossier Phase 2 fame had access to the (presumed by me) Bush Dossier Phase 1 Report?
If the answer is YES then the approval of the GOP source who funded that report would be required. And if the approval was not officially given it could have been leaked to Hillary by one of the Bushies or whoever.
A looming Bush/GOP scandal?
