I would also wonder about their mothers. It’s sort of a feminist issue in reverse, but I strongly feel certain women should not be mothers. If they’re too neurotic or unstable, they will produce sons with enough rage to sink a battleship.

I agree. However, imho, the father was a ‘piece of work,’ too—particularly in his largely absence. RAD is a horribly destructive and epidemic problem (Reactive Attachment Disorder) afflicting a huge majority of the population quite seriously. I agree with my housemate on that score.

I am the mother of a mentally ill adult son and I have been through holy hell with this son and I take huge umbrage at your ridiculous comment. You don’t know what you are talking about blaming the mothers. Stifle yourself and your stupid speculation.

I would also wonder about their mothers.

"Mindhunter" on Netflix. Possibly based on actual FBI research on serial killers. All the mothers were emotionally abusive. The fathers were either absent or milquetoasts.

You just described my mother. Only one out of 4 brothers turned out dangerous, but it greatly affected all of us. The brother who turned out dangerous was definitely molested (outside of the family). Luckily us other 3 were not.
He brought hate, anger and fear everywhere he went. Destroyed 2 marriages of his own and probably some others. He was the most self-loathing person I ever knew, but of course he took it out on everyone else. Very sad. He died at 44. His death was a blessing.
