Trumpers, who are most critical of Muellers investigation, normally (correctly, Id say) see Trump as brilliant, playing 3D chess... Fast forward to the investigation. Mueller hires, supposedly, a bunch of biased lawyers (some of whom, it turns out, specialize in financial transactionswhich was never, ever mentioned in the original charges against Trump). So in addition to the fact that Trump was told on multiple occasions he was not a target, it also appears that the types of lawyers Mueller hired were looking at something entirely different than Russian collusion. it had to look like Sessions was incompetent. Trump provided Cheese in the maze early with Tweets about Why Sessions wasnt doing anything and the like Sessions had a presser for another sting and was smiling as if he knew exactly what was going on. I suspect we have about three more months, taking us into 2018 election season, before Mueller begins to drop indictments ... Democrats are in huge trouble already with the electorate. This would likely bury them deader than the Know-Nothings.

“LS brought me in off of the ledge on election night. He gets the benefit of the doubt from me.”
When I first glanced through the op I decided it was wishful thinking. When I found out LS wrote the article I *read* it.
—Crossing my fingers on this. Would love to see the Dem meltdown.

I’ve been saying this since his first 30 days : Executive order. State CCW reciprocity. This is a safe EO. It’s fundamentally constitutional, it’s appropriate and it shows a lot.
But as a New Yorker, he’s not nor was he, or will he be pro-gun.
Hmmmmm.
Wonder if Sessions is working for Trump, too?
Right. Just hold that football for me one more time.
This is so spot-on. Maybe there are secret machinations at work we know nothing about, but without SOME sort of pay-off soon, the "Trump movement" is going to weaken.
We’ll see.
I’ve been dead on about Trump for two years now.
He is not stupid enough to appoint his own headsman.
I hate we have to feel this way; I thought we’d all nearly down at Tractor Supply picking out cattle prods to poke HRC and zero through the bars with by now. Instead, we haven’t even gotten a sideways wink to assure us of victory in any time frame.
I think he is, nominally. I think it would be more accurate to say he is pro 2A. Guns is probably not something he has ever spent much time on. Someone should take him shooting. He seems like a guy who could appreciate trap and fine shotguns.
I passed it on, with attribution and link of course.

Don’t get me twisted here: I honestly hope and pray you are right, but my opinion differs on this one. It will play out in time.
In my opinion, the Podesta investigation is only cover to make it appear as though Mueller is unbiased. He isn’t. He will cover for the Clintons, and so will his team.
Just remember, Mueller was said to have interviewed by Trump for FBI Director the night before he was appointed SP. The problem with this is, you can only serve one term as FBI Director unless the House/Senate pass a law granting it. When Mueller served the extra 2 years till Comey, Obama had to go to Congress to pass a waiver for that extra 2 years. The “supposedly” interview was a cover story.
In a word....YES
Remember the Mr Miller tapes,,,
And the tax returns that appeared in someone's in basket...mailed from NY,,,,?
So the SWAT team discovered some "incriminating" evidence about Podesta....?
Remember how Comey got fired,,,in LA ...and it was scheduled with perfect timing when Comey was taking a break in the cafeteria....and saw it Live on CNN...
....snicker
Trump has the contents of the Comey file cabinet, desk, computer and e-mails etc
My bet is in all those docs he also has the goods on Mueller
Gives him a nice leverage to steer the "investigations".
Again, we don’t know WHAT he was directed to investigate.
The language in the linked letter seems straightforward as to the premise, “to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election,” and it refers back to the already ongoing investigation that Director Comey had been leading.
