6 examples of Jeff Sessions' cowardice

Exclusive: Larry Klayman flays Trump's AG for allowing corruption to continue at DOJ!

As I chronicle in my autobiography, “Whores: Why and How I Came To Fight the Establishment!” I was once a proud trial lawyer in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Indeed, as a young 27-year-old attorney in the Reagan DOJ, I was on the trial team that eventually broke up the AT&T monopoly, creating needed and innovative competition in the telecommunications industry. During my time at Justice, I worked closely with special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the investigative arm of the Department. I found them to be generally straightforward and honest people. However, as I discussed in my latest column and in my book, I did find that politics and the so-called “right” connections frequently perverted other cases at my alma mater. That ultimately is why, in large part, I conceived of and founded Judicial Watch on July 29, 1994, to be the People’s Justice Department, untainted by the ever-growing reptilian swamp in the nation’s capital and specifically its government law enforcement and legal communities.

Today, 23 years after I started Judicial Watch, and 13 years after I also founded Freedom Watch – which now does the heavy legal lifting I used to do at Judicial Watch – the politicized state of DOJ and the FBI has grown to cancerous proportions, underscoring the need for a Freedom Watch. Let me give you a rundown of just how corrupted the DOJ and its FBI have become.

First, one need not look much further than the current state of affairs, even under new Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Running scared that the AG himself ..

Glad to hear about your three nephews! They’re being schooled right.

It will be very interesting to see the books coming out about the Trump presidency. You just know the ones authored by conservatives will wildly outsell the hate screeds from the Left. We live in interesting times!

If Trump runs for a 2nd term and is NOT elected it will be because of Sessions and the DOJ FAILING to deliver justice to the Clintons, Comey, etc.

Nah. Going after political enemies is not necessary to win relection. If Trump gets ObamaCare repealed, tax cuts implemented and the economy stays good Trump has a good shot at relection. But even if what you say were true then Trump would be the one to blame because he put Sessions in that job and allows him and all the others at DoJ to stay in those jobs. Trump's the boss. It's his show.

Ahh.. that's what I said in replying to what "Plain Talk" stated.

"Plain Talk" stated.. so he is Trump’s mistake.

I replied...I AGREE.. and I'll add that if Trump runs for a 2nd term and is NOT elected it will be because of Sessions and the DOJ FAILING to deliver justice to the Clintons, Comey, etc.

The economy is doing well. Market doing fine. Trump is killing Obama’s EOs and helping businesses. Businesses are expanding.

Trump needs to get solid accomplishments like repeal of ObamaCare and tax cuts and he will be on sound footing to get reelected.

The MSM and dems are overreaching and the public sees that.

Actually if the MSM/dems were smarter and held back a bit I think it would have more of an impact on Trump than what’s happening now. shhh. Don’t tell them.

Third, Sessions, testifying before Congress just last Wednesday that wholesale spying on millions of Americans under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act is “peachy keen” to protect the citizenry against terrorists.

I wholeheartedly agree with Larry Klayman on this point. These FISA searches are not supported by legitimate warrants—which must be backed by probable cause—and are therefore patently illegal, constituting a straightforward and unambiguous violation of the Fourth Amendment.

People can say what they want about the other 5 points Mr, Klayman raises, but this routine disregard for the Bill of Rights one is hard to rationalize, IMHO.

Indeed, it appears that FISA warrants may have been one of the chief weapons used by the Hillary Clinton campaign—under the flimsy auspices of the authority of the sitting President, Barack H. Obama—to unethically and illegally gather intelligence on Donald J. Trump's campaign team in an effort to sabotage his candidacy.

If true, such political crimes exceed— by several orders of magnitude—those alleged to have been committed by President Richard H. Nixon while in office...

I'm not at all convinced that Jeff Sessions is a Swamp-dwelling crook, but I'm definitely not "with" his FISA court cheerleading, nor his enthusiasm for the gratuitous re-prosecution of defendants in the Cliven Bundy case.

As for Mr. Klayman's Fifth assertion—that the FBI is engaged in a cover-up of the mass shooting in Las Vegas—do you have an opinion on this, LS? I know you've expressed some reservations regarding the (federal and state) investigations of this mass shooting.

You've been a staunch defender of our AG, and I tend to respect your opinion in such matters. I'm positive that both he and the President are privy to much more information that the average Freeper such as myself are, and therefore I try to refrain from making too many knee-jerk pronouncements about the President's cabinet appointments. If Sessions is still there, there has to be a reason...

I’m on the fence about LV. Laura Loomer is a self-promoting idiot but she stumbled into the timeline stuff.

My thoughts on a second shooter, so far, have been disproven.

But the overall secrecy and apparent ineptitude of SOMEONE (FBI or LVPD) is shocking.

The guard is apparently an illegal.

LV the most filmed/surveilled spot on the planet but we don’t have answers?

My sentiments exactly. Sessions was a terrible choice for AG. Sounds like it should have been Larry Klayman.

>>I knew Sessions was bad but I never dreamed he was this bad. Klayman has described a disaster of epic proportions. Sessions is an unmitigated catastrophe.<<

I have been saying this for several months and have sometimes received a lot of heat for doing so. This empty suit needs to be gone NOW, and Trump is going to lose a substantial portion of his support base if he doesn’t “man up” and fire him before he does any more damage.
