President Trump said Saturday morning he will allow the release of the classified files related to former President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963.
"Subject to the receipt of further information, I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened," Trump tweeted.
Trump's announcement counters a report that predicted the president was likely going to block the release of some of the documents by the National Archives, which citing pressure from the CIA over possibly harmful national security information being revealed.
Still, White House spokesperson Lindsay Walters told Politico Magazine that the Trump administratioin was trying "to ensure that the maximum amount of data can be released to the public.
The deadline for the National Archives to release the 3,100 documents, primarily from the CIA and FBI, is Oct. 26. The date was established by the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, which was signed into law by former President George H.W. Bush in an attempt to minimize conspiracy theories about Kennedy's death.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., led a group of bipartisan lawmakers urging Trump earlier this month to allow full access to the classified documents.
"Transparency in government is critical not only to ensuring accountability; it's also essential to understanding our nation's history," Grassley said in a statement. "The assassination of President Kennedy occurred at a pivotal time for our nation, and nearly 54 years later, we are still learning the details of how our government responded and what it may have known beforehand. Americans deserve a full picture of what happened that fateful day in November 1963. Shining a light on never-before-seen government records is essential to filling in these blank spaces in our history."

The “Company” as my late wise friend Tom always referred to Bush and Associates was knee deep in all of this. Frankly, I know from the first time I saw the Zapruder Film that the last shot came from the near side in front. Kill shot. I still think from the sewer grate... we’ll probably never ever know..
Showtime did a movie about Joseph Bonanno one of the regional crime family bosses in NYC and one of the few to retire and move to Arizona with approval from the commission (the other families) At the end of the movie there was an interview with the old Don then 92. He said the sewer grate was sued and that Johhny Roselli planned the shooting. Roselli a long time fixer for Giancanna and the one the CIA talked to about killing castro.
Then I read a sooty online the sewer grate didn’t work because the angles were all wrong.

BTW Roselli and another guy were dispatched to the keenly compound in Hyannisport to ask Joe Kenndy to remind his boys that the mod helped him get elected, especially in defeating Humphry in the WV primary. The Kennedys were aggressively pursuing the mafia when they took office. Joe said her would talk to them when they came one at Christmastime. But he stroked out and couldn’t talk to anyone. This story is the basis for a conclusion the mafia may have done the job. Again counter argument, the mob was adverse to assassinating major political figures as unamerican and something which would turn the public against them.

At this point, I don’t care what they release because I won’t believe their authenticity anyway. Deep State has had 50 years to sanitize all records and rewrite them the way they wanted. Especially when GHWB was president.
I don’t know how much of the same thing has already happened with the Uranium deal, but it’s more recent, and they weren’t expecting its unmasking....so there may still be some unaltered evidence in existence.

Dallas, TX: Chief Curry stated that on November 15th, that he, Capt. Fritz and Sheriff Decker were informed by SS agent Winston Lawson that a route had been selected for JFK’s motorcade and the upcoming trip to Dallas. Mr. Lawson returned to Washington.
Upon his return to Dallas on November 18th he presented a finalized route whereby the president’s motorcade would now pass the TSBD building located on Elm St.
With all due respect, I think the President can walk and chew gum at the same time. :) I was watching the news this a.m. and they have a few prototypes they are looking at. It will take a long time; that is a huge border.
The U.S. should also look at the northern border; there are some radical Muslims here who would probably not receive the same scrutiny that people coming in from the south do.

IIRC, there was a photo of Ted Cruz’s father with Oswald.
President Trump is usually quite correct. I don’t think he would have said that if he wasn’t very sure about the veracity.
