The state Supreme Court will hear arguments on Nov. 14 in the closely watched case involving the families of victims of the Sandy Hook massacre who are suing the gun manufacturer that makes the weapon used in the shootings.
The families of 10 victims filed the lawsuit in January 2015, seeking to hold the Remington Outdoor Co. liable for the massacre because it marketed a gun to the public it knew was made for military use.
Adam Lanza shot his way into the Newtown school on Dec. 14, 2012, and fired 154 bullets in about five minutes from a Bushmaster AR-15, killing 26 people, including 20 first-graders.
The lawsuit also named Camfour Holding LLP, the guns distributor, and Riverview Gun Sales Inc., the East Windsor gun shop where Nancy Lanza, Adam's mother, bought the AR-15.
But the lawsuit was dismissed by Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis, forcing the families to appeal to the states highest court.

“fired 154 bullets in about five minutes”
...and without a bump stock.
Just think of the lawsuits other industries such as auto manufacturers are going to be hit with if the “complainants” win THIS “lawsuit”. Next up, anyone who has ever had a “loved one” killed by a drunk driver will be able to sue the manufacturer of the drunk driver’s vehicle. The shyster lawyers gotta be loving this.
Remington needs to counter sue the families to recover all legal fees and expenses.
If the guy made a Fertilizer Bomb to kill the Kids, would they be suing Bandini?
Is anyone suing the Architect and Contractor who built Mandalay Bay for providing the Murderer with a Sniper’s Nest?
Was Bushmaster part of Freedom Group when the gun was purchased by Lanza’s mother? I don’t see how this lawsuit has any merit to begin with, but don’t see why Remington would be named specifically.
Had the school honored chls for teachers and other employees the scenario would have changed dramatically with many fewer casualties. He would have had a small number of seconds to shoot before he was shot.
Make Hammers Illegal?
oh boy... they better start sewing the cutlery companies every time someone gets stabbed with a kitchen knife along with Walmart who sold it!
ROFL
Gun free zones have cost many lives since Joe Biden authored it and it was passed by both houses of Congress. It doesn’t work and it is time to change.
Recognizing chls turns a school into a very hard target.
Since the shooting, there has been this group of 8-10 families that apparently have all the time in the world to find a camera, court, etc. to push for more gun control.
Don’t they have bills to pay, jobs to go to, etc. How are they able to spend so much time and money on these cases. Who is funding them?
Notice how nobody sues car manufacturers for deaths caused by drunk drivers?

Lets pretend these ignoramus are correct...
Do they think because a AR-15 is black and scary looking that makes an AR-15 fundamentally different than and other similar sporting rifle ?
Does it kill any differently?
Good heavens! That is almost 1,000 rounds per second!
The families attorney, Josh Koskoff ir raking in the fees on this case.
It should have not chance, but you can never know with leftist infested courts.
But the more the case goes on, the more fees Koskoff rakes in.
More money was funneled to these people than the 9-11 victims. There’s a lot about this that is bad. A lot.
Kangaroo court.
HAHA! Thirty rounds a minute? What a slacker!
Any competitive shooter worth their salt can do that with a PISTOL! Even I, a C-class USPSA competitor and Markman-class IDPA competitor, can shoot down 6 steel plates from 10 yards in 4.45 seconds, which is over 80 AIMED rounds a minute!
It's totally stupid to ban guns based on cyclic rate. Because there's always another person (Jerry Miculek, etc.) who is faster.
this is destruction by process and lawyer.
it is the suit that is intended as the punishment. These are penniless families goaded by immune lawyers and lawfirms.
