George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.
At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

FOAD GWB!
Clintons and Bush’s - don’t people ever just go away anymore?
Dubya has been one of the biggest disappointments of my adult life.
I’ll just leave it at that.
From a failure like Bush. That’s rich.
GWB.
“islam is a religion of peace”
“I am a punching bag for the left”
Forbes or McCain couldn’t have beaten Gore and Lieberman in 2000, but it is what it is.
So sad that W is simply mouthing the slogans and cliches of the Left.
Well, did you think there is another reason someone who served in the military post WWII would assert Islam is a “religion of peace?”
He’s unreal.
George W. was the third worst President:
1) Obama
2) Carter
3) W.
Bush clearly hates Trump much more than he does Obama. No surprise.
I guess screwing Conservatism into the dirt for eight years wasn’t enough for this moron.
GW, did it ever dawn on you that attacking Whites on university campuses evidenced bullying and prejudice?
This low class clown didn’t criticize Obama at all.
Oh, the Bushes went away during 2008 to 2016
Ironically
I just saw Steve Forbes being interviewed on (of all things) PBS. Even at hos age, he was very astute and interesting.
McCain would have been a disaster (and still is!).
Dubya’s legacy is doing the rope-a-dope with his hands by his side and letting his enemies pound him.
As they say: I can’t spare Trump - he fights!
Forbes is a good man, but he is not telegenic. Bush was more telegenic than Gore in 2000.
McCain was telegenic, but has gone angry over the years.
I remember Bush saying how he would go away and let Obama govern. That he wouldn’t criticize Obama or speak against him because he was elected by the American people and they have spoken.
Now despite how often Obama would blame Bush when he himself screwed up, and then Obama seriously put the USA in jeopardy internationally, domestically, and economically... Bush was like a cricket. Never saying a word.
Now, he is going to go back on his own principles to attack the REPUBLICAN president?
I am now officially ashamed of my vote in 2000 and 2004!
Not a peep out of this twit for the 8 years of Obama.
Hell, he wouldn’t even fight back himself when criticized during his Presidency.
*Now* Bush starts yapping. Give me a break.
How much I regret supporting this pos. I would have voted for him only because algore and lurch were so much worse.
