In the wake of the Vegas shooting, Hollywood actors are urging people to call Congress and ask them to oppose any gun measures backed by the National Rifle Association. In a video for Everytown for Gun Safety, Emma Stone, Bill Hader, Melissa McCarthy, and others voice support for gun control legislation and ask viewers to text Everytown for Gun Safety so that they can be connected with their congressmen.
The mass shooting in Las Vegas has all of us grieving, scared, and angry, Stone begins in the video.
Knowing what to do about it can be confusing, Bill Hader continues. Heres one thing that can make a difference right now.
A number of celebrities then demonstrate calls to congressmen facilitated by Everytown where they oppose loosening regulations on suppressorswhich they claim would make mass shootings even more deadly than they already areand concealed carry reciprocity legislation.
Other celebrities included in the video are Julianne Moore, Jack Antonoff, Moby, and Cynthia Rowley.

As I’m reading the Jennifer Lawrence accusations during her youth in hollywood (It’s terrifying, BTW) I’m left wondering “Why did she continue?”
As Churchill said: “We’ve discovered _what_ you are, now we are only negotiating price.”
Everyone in Hollywood is a whore who will do anything they are told to maintain their lifestyle. Everyone. The whole of Hollywood is in on it. If you are seeing them on a screen, they are spewing communist bullsh!ttery.
Then I realize that hollywood is now owned by china. And China didn’t sign any papers to own them, they “allowed the movies into their markets” which doubles the profits of a movie. In order to get a film into china to extend the profits, it must fulfill the philosophies of the Communist Party.
China also will only allow actors on screen who further the Communist agenda. So these actors have to say this crap, or they lose their lifestyle. Yes, it’s the coward approach, but these people are cowards and whores.
Lastly, China wants to push this agenda in the US to facilitate an easier take-over of the US mainland - not just it’s labor force and economy.
“The Avengers” look cool, and carry with them a decidedly pro-communist message (They HAVE TO or else it won’t sell in China.. And china adds actors and scenes to the movies to promote Chinese control (The Avengers in China are actually lead by Chinese Scientists who drink a lot of Pocari Sweat. Look it up.). So even if you don’t see the communist messages, the messages ARE there because China purposely put them in.
I love those movies, but I won’t watch them anymore. They are enemy propaganda.
(Oh, and don’t get me started on The Dark Tower.)
NRA: Call your congressman to reject Hollywood.
“NRA: Call your congressman to reject Hollywood”
Seriously. Hollywood represents an organization and culture that:
1. Harms many vulnerable women and children.
2. Brings out the worst behavior in those participating in the production process.
3. Harms the mindset of consumers, with R rated scripts.
Time to regulate Hollywood.
Better yet, let’s all call hollywood to protest the everyday perversion and silent consent.
Im left wondering Why did she continue?. I’m wondering why she’s such a flaming lib.
They must be really worried more of their rapists/molesters are going to be outed.
“wondering why shes such a flaming lib.”
She’s coerced. She doesn’t give two sh1ts about who is in control, she’s rich as hell and can go anywhere.
Her, as well as about 90% of the celebs out there are told to say these things, or their cushy career is over. And we might think that the hollywood execs are in charge - they are not. China is.
So These actors need to speak out against capitalists so that movie companies can sell tickets in China to the tune of “about twice what they can make in the US”.
They are all either communists themselves (Which many are) or they are just whores (Which most are).
Harlots. Jezebels. A pox upon society.
LOL!
I said it before across multiple Weinstein articles, so I apologize for the repetition. However, I feel strongly that this is a golden opportunity to not "let a serious crisis go to waste." Except here, we're not being slimy collectivists, but upright citizens.
Mind you, I really do not like the idea of using the behavior of dirtbags and the tears of actresses/the misfortune of an innocent as a weapon against an enemy (to quote another Freeper). Real men would take these losers out back and beat some sense into them. I am also a free market capitalist and I don't want to regulate anything unless it is in line with the intent of the Founders.
All that said, we're dealing with the lowest of the low. If the Republicans had any sense of testicular fortitude - or a desire to MAGA for ALL individuals - they'd call a press conference and say:
"Democrats are clearly pro-misogyny. Silence equals consent. They said nothing while one of their fundraisers roamed as a sexual predator in Hollywood.
"It is sad that the loudest Democrat since this story broke has been Hillary Clinton, as she acknowledged that the Oval Office has seen a sexual predator - her husband.
"The Republican leadership asks the Democrats to stop treating the Second Amendment like Weinstein treats women, to reject Democrats' harboring of anti-woman fundraisers, and join us as we announce the start of hearings on this poisonous atmosphere in Hollywood, with an eye toward regulating studios and actors and actresses under the Commerce Clause as so many Democrats have with other parts of the economy."
Others have noted that the Republicans likely have skeletons in their closet and there is a risk in this approach. I agree, but maybe it's time to man-up and clean the Augean Stables. Frankly, I don't care if it's Hollywood or Wall Street or Main Street...this isn't the way real men act.
From Moses to St Joseph to men of fidelity throughout history, now is the time for Deplorables to reclaim the mantle of "compassion" from the statists, and expose their War on Women.
