Got some nice pics of one parking with my zoom lens about 30 years ago - they still let you get close.
It was a surprise to see an F-14 Tomcat parked next to an F-15 Eagle (probably a C model F-15).
This Tomcat was HUGE. Now there are just in museums. And still looking for parts in Iran. Since Iran got F-14A’s, they probably have the TF-30. Ya don’t want to yaw the nose with those at low altitude, reportedly.
I didn’t know the Tomcat was a big plane! One of my favorites...since Blakbird has been retired....is the Warthog! What a machine it is!
