A guest on MSNBCs AM Joy stated that conservative Christians like Roy Moore arent actually Christian.

(video at link)
After host Joy Reid referred to Alabama Senate hopeful Roy Moore as the darling of the Christian right, guest Rev. William Barber said that right-wing Christians werent real Christians.
Reid asked, Judge Roy Moore, it is interesting. He is a darling of the Christian right. But reading this article this week about how he once stood steadfast against removing segregation and poll taxes from the Alabama Constitution and yet he fits in fine. Why is that?
Barber answered, I just cant call it Christian right. Its so wrong. Its not Christian. Gun waving politicians that support segregation is not Christian. Its crazy.
He continued, And people are somehow being fooled and its time really for there to be a major challenge to this kind of public heresy that we see going on that is so counter the real values of Christianity.
Liberals love to control debate by granting themselves the power to define words.
FALSANI: Who’s Jesus to you?
(He laughs nervously)
OBAMA: Right.
Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.
And he’s also a wonderful teacher. I think it’s important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.
Segregationist Christianity was Democrat as is black nationalist segregationist Islam (Nation of Islam) which still exists and still votes Rat.
Yes, one of his typical non-answers. Thanks for posting.

so someone who is not Christian, is going to lecture us about Christianity??? MSNBC is going to tell us who and who is not a good Christian??? Really??
Dems booed God at the 2012 DNC convention. Never forget.
I wonder how many Christmas parties he goes to.
>>And people are somehow being fooled and its time really for there to be a major challenge to this kind of public heresy that we see going on that is so counter the real values of Christianity.
Christianity: I am a sinner and can only be made righteous through the work of Christ in the cross.
Every other religion (including the Humanist ones like Progressivism): You can work hard and obey the rules and you will make yourself righteous.
I am sick to death of liberals claiming that Christ was a liberal. I’ve read the New Testament but I must have missed the part where he advocated throwing out the 10th Commandment. The 10th is the one that really frost’s the lefties. It makes modern liberalism a sin.
I’m sure he’d fit right in with baby killing, drugs and perversion of the left. Yeah. He’d be right down with that “do it if it feels good psychobabble. /s
Amen!
Bingo.
Bingo.
Bingo.
I disagree. His answer on Post 3 screams: 'I am not a Christian'.
Not that any of us had any doubts - given his former place of worship (Rev. Wright's TUCC), and his reply about his 'Muslim Faith', when he was interviewed by Stephanopolis - but just more confirmation.
FALSANI: What do you believe?
OBAMA: I am a Christian.
So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.
On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences.
I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10.
My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim.
And I’d say, probably, intellectually I’ve drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.
So, I’m rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.
And so, part of my project in life was probably to spend the first 40 years of my life figuring out what I did believe - I’m 42 now - and it’s not that I had it all completely worked out, but I’m spending a lot of time now trying to apply what I believe and trying to live up to those values.
FALSANI: Have you always been a Christian?
OBAMA: I was raised more by my mother and my mother was Christian.
Yeah - that was basically what I was saying.
;)
I think most folks remember the BLT (not Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato) of da Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr.
