A once-great American institution is no more. Was definitively gone when they allowed gay scoutmasters.
Maybe more boys will join Trail Life. Eventually boy scouts will just be “scouts”.

Perhaps we should restate: "Simply, this is just another indication of the power of both money and the power of the Progressive ideology, when combined with money and the tool of both money and censorship of competing ideas (otherwise known as "political correctness").
The left is well on the way to their final goal with the scouts.
1. Identify a respected institution.
2. Kill it. <-————— Step 2 complete. The “boy” scouts are no more.
3. Gut it. <-————— Step 3 in progress.
4. Wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect. <-———— Step 4 happens with the boy scouts run around promoting progressive causes much as the girl scouts do today.
Prepare for harassment suits and, quite possibly, paternity suits. Then the scouts will require one female adult to join the boys (and girls) and then the real fun begins...
There are several alternatives now. This is the one with which I am familiar.It is very good. My KofC council's troop and pack switched over seamlessly when it became absurd that a religious organization could no support BSA any longer. The members directly in charge of the scouts received a brochure and made some long phone calls and got a whole list of particulars and we switched. It has been very satisfactory. It does, however, induce an inappropriate feeling of smugness. We're working on that.
It was Rex Tillerson who lobbied to end the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy of the BSA. According to a Dallas News story:
Tillerson was instrumental in lobbying the Scouts’ board to accept openly gay youths, said John Hammer, president of the Washington think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies, of which Tillerson is a board member.

GSA includes tranny guys as girls. The BSA is on a different track. Imagine all the merit badges to be earned in the category of intergender activity as we prepare our children for adulthood.
