When your legacy rests on a series of executive orders with no legislative backing, your legacy can be erased by any president who follows you. True for Obama, true for Trump - if the GOP wants to capitalize on this golden opportunity to make the changes they have promised to make, they have the numbers in Congress to pass laws permanently overturning Obama’s legacy. If they remain gutless weaklings, the next president can bring back everything Obama did and do more damage on top.
Trump goes “hey, lookie over here...I’m gonna take NBCs license away!” and the dummies do...meanwhile he dismantles the heart of Obamacare and de-certifies the Iraq deal.
