When your legacy rests on a series of executive orders with no legislative backing, your legacy can be erased by any president who follows you. True for Obama, true for Trump - if the GOP wants to capitalize on this golden opportunity to make the changes they have promised to make, they have the numbers in Congress to pass laws permanently overturning Obama’s legacy. If they remain gutless weaklings, the next president can bring back everything Obama did and do more damage on top.

And though I’m loving every minute of the dismantling of the anti-American, anti-freedom agenda of the past administration, Congress (McConnell/Ryan - so called “leadership”) need to take action to codify it into law or this is all for naught when/if a dem regime comes in. Which I’m half inclined to believe is what they secretly (or, not so secretly, want). I’m not sure the Repubs really differ that much from the Dems and it is a heck of a lot easier to parade around and complain as the minority party than it is to actually lead and make the tough arguments and decisions we need.
Agree strongly. Congressional R’s must, in laws, harden our directives. After Trump’s grip, if only EOs remain, we’re toast (as Obama’s EOs are becoming, happily). We must replace RINOs with patriot Americans at all costs.

Personally? I think President Trump is reversing all of 0bama’s EOs with a few things in mind: showing his base that he’s serious, showing the Independents and non-lunatic Dems that he’s also fighting for THEM, using these EOs as a steamroller for 2018 to rid us of RINOs and OLD Socialists and THEN he’s going to go back and do things legislatively, once it’s not such a battle to dot an ‘i’ or cross a ‘t’.
His hands are tied right now, but he’s laying the groundwork to release the Kraken in the future for We The People.
0bama, even with the Dems and the COMPLICIT RINOs pushed his agenda forward as fast as he could, too. He HAD to know that it wouldn’t all stick, but he didn’t care. All he wanted to do was to cause chaos and inflict as much damage as he could while he had the opportunity to do so.
