Exactamundo. Natividad is the local community hospital. It gets federal, state and local tax subsidy. If you go to Natividad they exercise cost shifting where if you pay cash or have insurance your bill is increased to pay for the 4 people coming in after you who do not.

If you are a legal Immigrant, you have a Green Card or a Work Permit.

Most of my family, hard working middle class, cannot afford health insurance anymore. Daughter had baby at home in January. I paid $4k for her midwife.
