The German government has warned the US against withdrawing from the Iran nuclear agreement. US President Donald Trump is expected to decertify Tehrans compliance with the 2015 deal in a White House speech at 12:45 p.m. (16:45 UTC) on Friday.
We believe this agreement is an important instrument to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said on Friday. If an important country like the United States comes to a different conclusion as appears to be the case, we will work even harder with other partners to maintain this cohesion, he said.
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel on Thursday said that any move by US President Donald Trumps administration to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal would drive a wedge between Europe and the US. Its imperative that Europe sticks together on this issue, Gabriel told Germanys RND newspaper group. We also have to tell the Americans that their behavior on the Iran issue will drive us Europeans into a common position with Russia and China against the USA.
Despite countless warnings from global leaders and even from within his own administration, Trump is expected on Friday to unveil a new strategy on confronting Iran, which would include decertifying Irans compliance to the nuclear accord. The deal, which was reached in 2015 between Iran and international powers, saw international sanctions related to Irans nuclear program lifted in exchange for Tehran dismantling its nuclear program.

That’s their intention. And that was Obama’s intention as well.
Therefore, she's "brat-sh!t crazy" ... a perfect descriptor.
I hardly think so.
What I keep hearing in all of these messages is that Obozo broke the bank with this deal and those that benefit from it don’t want the sham “agreement” that has no basis in United States constitutional law to be abrogated as the constitution demands.

I guess it comes down to whether we trust Israel (who HATES the deal) or Germany (who loves the deal). Considering this is about the preservation of lives of millions of Jews, I’ll go with Israel on this one.
They may try to send another telegram to Mexico...
Good points.
You are right. Muslims don’t care about Muslims being killed in their march to world domination/the Caliphate.
And dealing with a nuclear Iran will mean dealing with someone who Mutually Assured Destruction isn’t a deterrent.
and we all know what happened the last time they tried our patience.
Iran could not develop a long range missile and H-Bomb so some of the $160 million OBAMA and company gave Iran went to North Korea.
Dealing with German DINGBATS.
If at all. How can we know if anything’s slowed, if the one doing the inspections is Iran?
“...drive us Europeans into a common position with Russia and China against the USA.
Eastasia and Eurasia have always been at war with Oceania.
They gonna invade Poland or France if we do??
The political theories that evolved into Marxism and its derivatives, communism, Nazism, fascism, Maoism, and socialism were birthed and still thrive in Europe. So Merkel’s threat is nothing new or surprising. It is, in fact, 19th Century geopolitics in a 21st Century world and makes Merkel look very stupid.
Bingo.
Good one.
Aren’t the Germans the folks that built all of Iran’s underground bunkers and facilities during the time of the sanctions?.
So I can see why they would be upset, they probably have billions in contracts with them.
So certify the deal, no matter how certification flies in the face of reality. But Heaven forfend there be a wedge between the US and Europe. There are consequences to Europe certifying the deal, because doing so would drive a wedge between Europe and the US.
In brief, STFU and stop trying to dictate US policy.
