DONALD Trump has held a meeting on the growing North Korea crisis in the White House's famous "situation room" along with the US Generals, reports say.
Trump is reported to have held a briefing on North Korea at the White House along with US National Security Council.
The situation room often hosts "war councils" during times of conflict, and was famously where Barack Obama monitored the mission to kill Osama bin Laden.
Tensions between the US and North Korea have been worsening as Kim refuses to give up his quest for nuclear capable ICBMs.
Yesterday, General James Mattis warned the US Army to "stand ready" for war with North Korea – and he was in today's major meeting.

“Trump is in the situation room” doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Trump and Mattis are very public with their "hints" about North Korea. Either they are trying to send a very direct signal, or they are preparing the public for a possible strike.
Perhaps both. Trump and Mattis would not be doing this if there was not an overt purpose.
If we have ways of observing (which I have to figure we do), we get to watch Rocket Man as he maneuvers. We learn where he goes, who his contacts are, which observation posts light up, which jets on the ground are started and where, which units are alerted and where they travel. Etc.
Potentially, there are plenty of reasons to get him to flinch and reveal himself a bit more.
Too bad we don’t have a “Strangelove” war room in the White House. However, this which seems intentionally leaked as a last warning, should get fat boy’s attention if that’s possible.

No it doesn’t but it’s still not correct. The war Room is in the Pentagon.
The Korean war started in 1950, it was never declared over, it is well within the President's Constitutional purview to suspend the armistice and continue diplomacy by other means...

I see no indication in the article that "Trump and Mattis are doing this."
I'd be curious to know the source of the so called "reporting" and to know if Trump or Mattis approved the "reports."
I hope they’re all not watching him shower.
